Notice of Voluntary Winding-up Resolution.

NOTICE is hereby given that on the 22nd day of July, 1941, the above-named company duly resolved as a special resolution by way of entry in the minute-book, as provided by section 300 of the Companies Act, 1933 :—

“ (1) That the company be wound up voluntarily.
“ (2) That JOHN JOSEPH HALL, of Dunedin, Public Accountant, be and he is hereby appointed liquidator of the company.”

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.

NOTICE is hereby given that the partnership heretofore subsisting between HUGH PATERSON and ALFRED JACKSON, carrying on business as bricklayers at Invercargill under the style or firm of “ Paterson & Jackson,” has been dissolved by mutual consent as from the 22nd day of July, 1941.

All debts due to and owing by the said late firm will be received and paid by the said Hugh Paterson, who will continue to carry on the said business.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Deputy Registrar of Friendly Societies has, pursuant to section 70 of the Friendly Societies Act, 1909, by writing under his hand dated this 22nd day of July, 1941, cancelled the registry of Edith Cavell Rebekah Lodge, No. 36, of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows of New Zealand, Friendly Society (Register No. 146/201), held at Rakaia, on the ground that the said branch has ceased to exist.

THE EDUCATION BOARD OF THE DISTRICT OF HAWKE’S BAY.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO EXECUTE WORKS AND TO TAKE LAND.

PURSUANT to section 22 of the Public Works Act, 1928, notice is hereby given that the Education Board of the District of Hawke’s Bay proposes under the powers conferred by the Education Act, 1914, to execute a certain public work—namely, the establishment of a public school—and that accordingly the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken for the purposes of a site for a public school.

Notice is further given that a plan of the lands required to be taken for the purposes aforesaid is deposited at the offices of Messrs. Sainsbury and Sainsbury, Locke Street, Wairoa, Hawke’s Bay, and is open for inspection by all persons during ordinary office hours. All persons affected by the execution of the said work or by the taking of the said lands who have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said work or to the taking of the said lands must set forth their objections in writing and send the same to the Education Board of the District of Hawke’s Bay at its offices in Browning Street, Napier, on or before the 5th day of September, 1941, being a date not less than forty days from the first publication of this notice.
