IT is hereby notified for general information that, in pursuance of the powers vested in me by Regulation 44 of the National Service Emergency Regulations 1940, I have this day issued to—

notices calling them up for service overseas with the Armed Forces as being reservists of Class A of the First Division of the General Reserve, such persons having been severally convicted for that, being reservists belonging to a class of the Reserve the enrolment of which has been proclaimed, they did fail to make application in writing for enrolment in that class of the Reserve as required by Regulation 43 (1) of the National Service Emergency Regulations 1940.

IN pursuance of the powers conferred upon the Price Tribunal by the Control of Prices Emergency Regulations 1939, and with the authority of the Minister of Industries and Commerce, the Price Tribunal hereby makes the following Price Order:—

This Order may be cited as Price Order No. 41.

For a period expiring on the 31st day of August, 1941, during which period the supply of coke in Christchurch requires to be augmented by the importation of coke from both Timaru and Dunedin, there may be added to the price of coke sold by the Christchurch Gas, Coal, and Coke Company, Limited, and by distributors of coke in Christchurch a sum by way of surcharge to cover the cost and freight incurred by the Christchurch Gas, Coal, and Coke Company, Limited, on coke so imported, but such sum shall not exceed the amount set out hereunder:—

PURSUANT to section 4 of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1936, the Board of Native Affairs hereby declares the Native land described in the Schedule hereto to be subject to Part I of the said Act, and to be included in the Wharekahika Development Scheme.

Election of Member of Gisborne Land Board.

I, HENRY LOFTUS PRIMROSE, Returning Officer for the election of a member of the Gisborne Land Board, do hereby notify in accordance with the provisions of section 47 of the Land Act, 1924, and the regulations made thereunder, that the only person nominated to fill the vacancy occurring on the said Board was George Oswald Donovan, of Motu; and I do therefore declare that the said George Oswald Donovan is duly elected a member of the Gisborne Land Board for a term of two years as from the 31st day of May, 1941.
