At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 9th day of July, 1941.

Present:

THE HON. W. NASH PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the land described in the Schedule hereto being taken for housing purposes.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land permitted to be taken: 1 rood 15-4 perches.

Being portion of Section 23, Waimea East, being all the land in C.T. 58/81, Nelson Registry.

Situated in Block VII, Waimea Survey District (Borough of Richmond) (Nelson R.D.). (S.O. 9190.)

In the Nelson Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 110684, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section forty-four of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

Leslie William Robert Pierce,
Ernest Richard O’Neill,
John Bates, and
William Watson

to be the Orari Park Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint Monday, the fourth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and forty-one, at half past seven o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Orari Hall as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

SCHEDULE.

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT.—ORARI PARK DOMAIN.

RESERVES 3028, 3081, 3082, and portions of Barker and Macdonald Streets, and Section 11 of Block V, and Section 16 of Block VI, Town of Orari: Area, 14 acres 0 roods 28 perches.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section forty-four of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

Ernest Carey,
Alexander Ferguson Pearson,
Alured George Mathias,
Peter Wilson,
William Howell, and
Alexander Mann

to be the Taieri Lake Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint Saturday, the second day of August, one thousand nine hundred and forty-one, at half past two o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Domain Board Pavilion, Waipiata, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

OTAGO LAND DISTRICT.—TAIERI LAKE DOMAIN.

SECTIONS 18 and 22, Block XI, and Section 2, Block XII, Maniototo Survey District: Area, 464 acres, more or less.

Cancelling the Reservation over a Reserve in City of Auckland, North Auckland Land District.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 9th day of July, 1941.

Present:

THE HON. W. NASH PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one (b) of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby cancel the reservation for the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby declare that the said land, being vested in the Crown, is Crown land available for disposal under the Land Act, 1924.

SCHEDULE.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.

ALL that area in the City of Auckland containing by admeasurement 2 roods 6-4 perches, more or less, being Lot 568, D.P. 41201, being part of Allotments 32 and 404, District of Tamaki, comprised in Certificate of Title, Volume 466, folio 83, Auckland Registry. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 30/228/1/B, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one (b) of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby cancel the reservation for the growth and preservation of timber over the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby declare that the said land, being vested in the Crown, is Crown land available for disposal under the Land Act, 1924.
