NOTICE is hereby given that the lease of the undermentioned land, having been declared forfeit by resolution of the North Auckland Land Board, the said land has thereby reverted to the Crown under the provisions of the Land Act, 1924, and the Land for Settlements Act, 1925.

Town Land in North Auckland Land District for Selection on Renewable Lease.
North Auckland District Lands and Survey Office,
Auckland, 28th January, 1941.
NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned section is open for selection on renewable lease under the Land Act, 1924; and applications will be received at the North Auckland District Lands and Survey Office, Auckland, up to 4 o’clock p.m. on Friday, 14th March, 1941.
Applicants should appear personally for examination at the North Auckland District Lands and Survey Office, Auckland, on Wednesday, 19th March, 1941, at 10 o’clock a.m., but if any applicant is unable to attend he may be examined by any other Land Board or by any Commissioner of Crown Lands.
The ballot will be held immediately upon conclusion of the examination of applicants, and the successful applicant is required to pay immediately at conclusion of ballot a deposit comprising the first half-year’s rent, broken-period rent, and lease fee.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—TOWN LAND.
Waitemata County.—Waiwera Parish.—Town of Orewa.
Lot 80 of Allotment 279: Area, 1 rood. Capital value, £55; half-yearly rent, £1 7s. 6d.
This section is situated handy to Orewa Beach, being one mile and a quarter from main highway on a side road; about twenty-two miles from Birkenhead Vehicular Ferry. Store about half a mile away, and Silverdale School three miles distant. Level land in scrub; suitable bach-site.

Section 12, Block III: Area, 1 rood 7·25 perches. Capital value, £75; half-yearly rent, £1 17s. 6d.
The Town of Birchville is situated on the Akatarawa Road, about two miles and a half from Upper Hutt and about three-quarters of a mile from the Brown Owl Refreshment-rooms, the terminus of the Railway Motor-bus Service. The Hutt River flows past the township, and swimming and fishing may be indulged in.
The sections have frontage on the eastern side of Akatarawa Road by a high bank, and are suitable for dwelling or weekend cottage-sites.
