A grazing property situated in the Potaka Road, five miles from Aria Post-office and School, twenty-nine miles from Te Kuiti Railway-station, and five and a half miles from Aria Dairy-factory and Saleyards. Access is by metalled road from Aria. The land is undulating to easy hill country reverting to fern and scrub; approximately 250 acres in worn-out pasture, balance scrub and bush. Blackberry prevalent, but ragwort has been fairly well controlled. The section is subdivided into five paddocks and is watered by springs.
The property is not an economic unit on its own, but would work in with other land.

Reserve in Taranaki Land District for Lease by Public Tender.
District Lands and Survey Office,
New Plymouth, 9th July, 1941.
NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned section is open for lease, and tenders marked on the outside “Tender” will be received at the District Lands and Survey Office, New Plymouth, up to 4 o’clock p.m. on Monday, 18th August, 1941, under the provisions of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928.
SCHEDULE.
TARANAKI LAND DISTRICT.
Patea County.—Block III, Carlyle Survey District.
(Pariroa Native School Reserve.)
PART Section 503, Patea District: Area, 4 acres 1 rood. Minimum annual rent, £7.
This section comprises undulating to flat land, situated on the Pariroa Road, close to the Pariroa Pa, about two miles from Patea.
Abstract of Terms and Conditions of Lease.
(1) Term of lease: Twenty-one years subject to termination on twelve months’ notice if the Reserve should be required by the Crown.
(2) A half-year’s rent at the rate offered, and lease fee (£1 1s.) to be paid on acceptance of tender; thereafter rent payable half-yearly in advance.
(3) Possession to be given on acceptance of tender.
(4) No compensation to be claimed or allowed for any improvements effected or any other cause.
(5) Lessee to be liable to payment of rates, taxes, and other assessments.
(6) Residence not to be compulsory.
(7) Lessee to have no right to sublet or transfer or otherwise dispose of the land except with the written consent of the Commissioner of Crown Lands.
(8) Land not to be cropped or broken up except with the written consent of the Commissioner.
(9) Lessee to prevent the growth and spread and to keep the land clear of gorse and other noxious weeds and plants.
(10) Lessee not to engage in any noisome, noxious, or offensive trade on the land.
(11) Lease to be liable to termination if the lessee fails to fulfil any of the conditions of the lease within twenty-one days after the date on which same should be fulfilled.
(12) The highest or any tender not necessarily accepted, and the decision as to which tender, if any, is to be accepted to be made by the Commissioner of Crown Lands for the Taranaki Land District.

Education Reserve in Otago Land District for Lease by Public Tender.
District Lands and Survey Office,
Dunedin, 9th July, 1941.
NOTICE is hereby given that written tenders, marked on the outside “Tender,” will be received at the District Lands and Survey Office, Dunedin, up to 4 o’clock p.m. on Monday, 11th August, 1941, for a lease of the undermentioned education reserve under the provisions of the Education Reserves Act, 1928, and the Public Bodies Leases Act, 1908.
SCHEDULE.
OTAGO LAND DISTRICT.—EDUCATION RESERVE.
North Harbour and Blueskin Survey District.—Waikouaiti County.
SECTION 50, Block XI: Area, 10 acres. Minimum annual rental, £3.
Weighted with £5 (payable in cash) for improvements, comprising fencing.
The section is situated on the Pine Hill—Mount Cargill Road, five miles from Dunedin Post-office and Railway-station, and two miles from Liberton School. The soil is of fair quality resting on clay formation. Gorse is rather bad, but when cleared the section will be suitable for grazing.
Term of lease: Twenty-one years, with perpetual right of renewal at revaluation.
