SCHEDULE.

BURNHAM MILITARY RESERVE.

FIRSTLY, all that area in the Canterbury Land District, being Rural Section 13523 and Reserve 4036 and part Reserve 1160, situated in Block II, Leeston Survey District, and bounded as follows: Towards the south-west by Reserve 1159, 4000 links; towards the north-west by a public road, 6075 links; towards the north-east by a public road, 4000 links; and towards the south-east by the road bounding the Christchurch–Dunedin railway-line, 6075 links; and

Secondly, all that area in the Canterbury Land District, being Reserves 1040, 4070, and part Reserve 1636, situated in Blocks II and III, Leeston Survey District, and bounded as follows: Towards the south-west by a public road, 5663·3 links; towards the north-west by the Old Great South Road, 16846·5 links; towards the north-east by a public road, 3226·3 links; and towards the south-east by the road bounding the Christchurch–Dunedin Railway, 16870·5 links.

As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked Army P.P. 1, 205/3/1, deposited at Army Headquarters, Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

LYTTELTON (OIL-TANK AREA AND ERSKINE POINT MAGAZINE).

All that area in the Canterbury Land District, situated partly in the Borough of Lyttelton and partly in Block IV, Halswell Survey District, and bounded as follows: Commencing at a point being the junction of the north-western side of Godley Quay with the south-western side of Voelas Road and proceeding south-westerly generally along the said north-western side of Godley Quay, to and along the south-eastern side of Brittan Terrace and Governor’s Bay Road to a point due north of Senior Point; thence southerly by a right line to the said Senior Point; thence south-easterly to a point 100 yards due south of Erskine Point; thence easterly by a right line to a point on the coast-line due south of the southernmost point of Reserve 4250; thence north-easterly and north-westerly by the coast-line to include the Oil-tanker Wharf, Grid, Cattle Wharf, Patent Slip, Graving Dock, and Boat-building Sheds and Slips to a point in line with the production of the south-western side of Voelas Road; thence by a right line to the point of commencement. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked Army P.P. 2, 205/3/1, deposited at Army Headquarters, Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

LAKE COLERIDGE HYDRO-ELECTRIC POWER-STATION (POWER-HOUSE, PIPE LINES, SURGE CHAMBERS).

All that area in the Canterbury Land District, situated in Blocks IX and X, Coleridge Survey District, and being the area comprised in a circle the radius of which is 250 yards, and the centre being a point on the south bank of Lake Coleridge, distant 11920·6 links on a bearing 116° 34′ 32″ from Lake Hill (N.) Trigonometrical Station, Coleridge Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked Army P.P. 3, 205/3/1, deposited at Army Headquarters, Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

LAKE COLERIDGE HYDRO-ELECTRIC POWER-STATION (INTAKE).

All that area in the Canterbury Land District, being parts Rural Sections 29261, 30100, and 30101, and closed roads, situated in Block XIII, Coleridge Survey District, and bounded as follows: Commencing at a point being the northernmost corner of Reserve 4360; thence by right lines bearing 111° 40′, 1417·2 links; 127° 54′, 794·6 links; 38° 43′, 200·2 links; 127° 48′, 499·9 links; 37° 47′, 1949·2 links; 42° 18′, 2941·1 links; 20° 38′, 90·6 links; 8° 56′, 1543·6 links; 337° 47′, 106·2 links; 296° 57′, 3591·4 links; 323° 11′, 1135·6 links; 332° 40′, 555·8 links; 283° 17′, 760·5 links; 193′ 17′, 4562·6 links to the Rakaia River; thence southerly by that river to the commencing point. OTATARA RIFLE-RANGE AND EXPLOSIVE MAGAZINE.

Total area: 425 acres 3 roods 5·5 poles.

Comprising part Section 19, Block XXI, Invercargill Hundred, and part Section 126, Block XX, Invercargill Hundred: Area, 271 acres 2 roods 11 poles.

Sections 12 to 17: Part Sections 5 to 11, 52, 126, and closed roads, Block XX, Invercargill Hundred.

Sections 12 to 17: Part Sections 5 to 11, 52, 126: Area, 141 acres 2 roods 37·5 poles.

AWARUA RADIO STATION.

Sections 16 and 30A, Block III, Campbelltown Hundred: Total area, 239 acres 3 roods 4 poles. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked Army P.P. 6, 205/3/1, deposited at Army Headquarters, and thereon bordered red.

AREA AT MONOWAI.

All that area in the Southland Land District, bounded as follows: Commencing at Eldrig Peak, Block IV, Cleughearn Survey District; thence in an easterly direction by a right line to Black Mount at the easternmost corner of Section 172, Block XXIV, Takitimo Survey District; thence in a south-westerly direction by a right line to the bridge over the Waiau River north of Section 34, Block XXIX, Takitimo Survey District; thence in a south-westerly direction by a right line to Edge Peak, Block VIII, Monowai Survey District; thence in a north-westerly direction by a right line to Eldrig Peak, the point of commencement. The said boundaries being more particularly delineated on the plan marked Army P.P. 7, 205/3/1, deposited at Army Headquarters, Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

WAITAKI HYDRO-ELECTRIC AREA.

All that area of land known as Waitaki Hydro, bounded by a line commencing at a point on the north-eastern side of the Kurow to Oamarama Road at the boundary between Sections 12 and 13, Block V, Kurow Survey District; and proceeding thence in a north-westerly direction generally along the north-eastern boundary of the said road to a point approximately 600 ft. beyond the plantation at Lake Waitaki Village; thence in a north-easterly direction to the left bank of the Waitaki River; thence in a southerly direction generally along the said left bank including part Reserve 1574, Block IX, Hakataramea Survey District, to a point opposite the point of commencement; thence in a south-westerly direction to the point of commencement. As the same is delineated on the plan marked Army P.P. 8, 205/3/1, deposited in the office of the Army Headquarters, Wellington, and thereon bordered yellow.

RIPA ISLAND.

All that area in the Canterbury Land District, being Reserve 109 (known as Ripa Island), including the wharf and the bridge joining the island to the mainland, and situated in Block I, Pigeon Bay Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked Army P.P. 12, 205/3/1, deposited at Army Headquarters, Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

MAGAZINE AT MARSDEN ROAD, GREYMOUTH.

Section 1628 (His Majesty the King), containing 5 acres 1 rood, Section 1627, Crown Reserve, containing 10 acres 2 roods: Total area, 15 acres 3 roods.

Block XII, Mawhere Survey District: Bounded on the north by Heman’s Road; bounded on the south by Fairhall’s property; bounded on the east by Crown Scenic Reserve; bounded on the west by Bromley’s property.

As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked Army P.P. 13, 205/3/1, deposited at Army Headquarters, Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

DUNEDIN CENTRAL BATTERY AREA.

All that piece or parcel of land known as the Central Battery Area, and being parts of Sections 4, 5, and 6, and Crown land, Block XII, Dunedin and East Taieri Survey District: Bounded towards the north-west by Victoria Road; towards the north-east by part of Section 5; towards the south-east by part of Sections 5 and 6, and towards the south-west by parts of Sections 6 and 4, Block XII, Dunedin and East Taieri Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked Army P.P. 23, 205/3/1, deposited in the office of Army Headquarters, Wellington, and thereon marked “A” and coloured red.

ST. CLAIR MAGAZINE.

All that piece or parcel of land known as the St. Clair Magazine Site, being Lots 1A, 9, and 10, and parts of Lots 1 and 8, D.P. 477, Block II, Township of Waltham Rise, Ocean Beach Survey District: Bounded towards the north-west by Cliffs Road; towards the north-east by other part of Lot 8 aforesaid and Crown land; towards the south-east by Crown land; and towards the south-west by other part of Lot 1 aforesaid. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked Army P.P. 23, 205/3/1, deposited in the office of Army Headquarters, Wellington, and thereon marked “B” and coloured red.
