Land and Estates and Interests in Land in Block IX, Waimea
Survey District, taken for the Purposes of a Recreation-ground.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anyway enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the First Schedule hereto and all the estates and interests of Elizabeth Bellamy Dixon, Charlotte Dixon, Caroline Dixon, Spinsters, all of Brightwater, Alice Lines, of Westport, Widow, Margaret Olive Max, of Brightwater, Spinster, George William Hall, of Brightwater, Cycle Agent, Jabez George Hill, Farmer, and Walter Hill, Farmer, both of Brightwater, in the land described in the Second Schedule hereto being rights-of-way thereover created by Conveyance 38553 (Deeds Index, Volume 4, folio 96), Nelson Registry, are hereby taken for the purposes of a recreation-ground; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the fourteenth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and forty-one.

FIRST SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 1 acre 3 roods 35 perches.
Being part Section 18, Waimea South; coloured red.

SECOND SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land in respect of which the estates and interests are taken: 2 roods 2 perches.
Being part Section 18, Waimea South; coloured blue.

All situated in Block IX, Waimea Survey District (Nelson R.D.). (S.O. 9180.)

All in the Nelson Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 108922, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 7th day of July, 1941.

Revoking a Proclamation taking land for the Widening and Deepening of the Waiarohia Stream for Flood-prevention Purposes in the Borough of Whangarei.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anyway enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke the Proclamation dated the twenty-first day of May, one thousand nine hundred and forty-one, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 44 of the twenty-ninth day of the same month at page 1467, taking land for the widening and deepening of the Waiarohia Stream for flood-prevention purposes.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 7th day of July, 1941.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as closed the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road closed: 39·78 perches. Adjoining Lot 1, D.P. 11666, and Lots 1, 2, and 3, D.P. 11493, being portions of Section 31, Turakina District. Situated in Block XV, Ikitara Survey District. (S.O. 20613.)

In the Wellington'Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 111399, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 7th day of July, 1941.

Land set apart as an Addition to a Recreation Reserve.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by subsection nine of section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that from and after the date hereof the land comprised in the piece of closed road described in the First Schedule hereto, being land which is adjacent to the recreation reserve described in the Second Schedule hereto, shall be deemed to be added to the said recreation reserve.

FIRST SCHEDULE.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.

All that area containing by admeasurement 1 acre 0 roods 33·3 perches, more or less, being Allotments 129 and 130, Karangahape Parish (formerly closed road and part Allotment 37, Karangahape Parish, comprised in Proclamation 10210, Auckland Registry), Block IV, Waitakerei Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1/552/A, deposited in the Head Office, Lands and Survey Department, at Wellington, and thereon edged red. (North Auckland plan. S.O. 29069L.)

SECOND SCHEDULE.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.

All that area situated in Block IV, Waitakerei Survey District, containing by admeasurement 247 acres 1 rood 32·5 perches, more or less, being part Allotment 72, Karangahape Parish, proclaimed recreation reserve by Gazette 1902, page 2559. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1/552/B, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red. (North Auckland plans 6128s and S.O. 29069L.)

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 7th day of July, 1941.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by subsection nine of section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that from and after the date hereof the land comprised in the piece of closed road described in the First Schedule hereto, being land which is adjacent to the Cemetery Reserve described in the Second Schedule hereto, shall be deemed to be added to the said Cemetery Reserve.
