An Easement over Land taken for Waterworks Purposes in
Block XV, Purua Survey District, Whangarei County.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, as amended
by section sixty-two of the Statutes Amendment Act, 1939,
and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling
me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim
and declare that an easement is hereby taken over the land
described in the First Schedule hereto vesting in the Mayor,
Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Whangarei, a
perpetual right or easement for the conduct of water including
the right to lay down pipes, repair pipes, and take up pipes
upon, through, or under the said land, and the right of
ingress, egress, and regress to and from the said land with
or without vehicles, workmen, and materials for the purpose
of waterworks, such easement to be appurtenant to the
land described in the Second Schedule hereto: and I do also
declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and
after the seventh day of July, one thousand nine
hundred and forty-one.

FIRST SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land over which an ease-
ment is taken: 25·9 perches.

Being part Maunu 1n 3b South Block.

Situated in Block XV, Purua Survey District. (S.O.
30685.)

As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan
marked P.W.D. 109665, deposited in the office of the Minister
of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

SECOND SCHEDULE.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other
power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as stopped the Government road described in the Schedule hereto, such road
being no longer required.

SCHEDULE.

In the Auckland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plans marked and coloured as above
mentioned, and deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington.
