Notice calling up Reservists for Service Overseas with the Armed Forces.

Wellington, 24th June, 1941.
IT is hereby notified for general information that, in pursuance of the powers vested in me by Regulation 44 of the National Service Emergency Regulations 1940, I have this day issued to—

notices calling them up for service overseas with the Armed Forces as being reservists of Class A of the First Division of the General Reserve, such persons having been severally convicted for that, being reservists belonging to a class of the Reserve the enrolment of which has been proclaimed, they did fail to make application in writing for enrolment in that class of the Reserve as required by Regulation 43 (1) of the National Service Emergency Regulations 1940.

Notification under the Shipping Control Emergency Regulations 1939.
PURSUANT to the Shipping Control Emergency Regulations 1939, the Naval Board hereby gives notification as under:—
- This notification may be cited as the Hauraki Gulf Fishing Prohibition Notice 1941.
- This notification shall take effect on the day following the date of publication hereof in the Gazette.
- So long as this notification remains in force no master of a ship engaged in fishing shall permit his ship whilst so engaged to be in the waters described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
ALL waters enclosed within a line commencing at Needles Point, Great Barrier Island, running thence on a bearing of 273° to Sail Rock; thence on a bearing of 000° for eighteen miles; thence on a bearing of 093° to a point bearing 000° from Needles Point, being eighteen miles distant therefrom thence on a bearing of 180° to the point of commencement.

Notice to Persons affected by an Application for a License under Part III of the Industrial Efficiency Act, 1936.
Fish Retailing.
AN application has been received from Mrs. M. K. Watkins for a license to commence to carry on the retail sale of oysters and cooked fish from premises situated in the State Housing Block, West End, Palmerston North.
Any person who considers he will be materially affected by the decision of the Bureau of Industry on this application, and who wishes to make representations accordingly, must furnish them in writing not later than the 10th July, 1941.

Taking of Fish for Sale.
AN application has been received from Ben Aukaha, Motiti Island, Tauranga, for a license to take fish for sale by means of the fishing-vessel “Te Kuru,” TA. 285, using long-lines, hand-lines, and crayfish pots, catches to be landed at Tauranga.
Any person who considers he will be materially affected by the decision of the Bureau of Industry on this application, and who wishes to make representations accordingly, must furnish them in writing not later than the 10th July, 1941.

Any person who considers he will be materially affected by the decision of the Bureau of Industry on this application, and who wishes to make representation accordingly, must furnish them in writing not later than the 10th July, 1941.

Nicholson, 8 Benvenue Avenue, Timaru, for an extension of his existing license covering the taking of fish for sale by means of the fishing-vessel “Fern,” TU. 118, using trawl-nets, long-lines, and hand-lines, catches being landed at Timaru, so as to permit the use of Danish seine-nets.
Any person who considers he will be materially affected by the decision of the Bureau of Industry on this application, and who wishes to make representations accordingly, must furnish them in writing not later than the 10th July, 1941.
