Declaring a Bobby Calf Marketing Pool Area.
PURSUANT to the Bobby Calf Marketing Regulations 1939, I, James Gillispie Barclay, Minister of Marketing, being satisfied that a sufficient majority of the producers in the area of land defined in the Schedule hereto are desirous that such area should be declared to be a pool area for the marketing of bobby calves, do hereby declare such area of land, defined as aforesaid to be a Bobby Calf Marketing Pool Area for the purposes of the said regulations under the name set out in the said Schedule; and I do hereby further declare that this notice shall take effect on the 3rd day of July, 1941.
SCHEDULE.
LEESTON-LAKESIDE BOBBY CALF MARKETING POOL AREA.
ALL that area of land situated within the Ellesmere County and bounded by a line commencing at the point where the main Dunsandel Road crosses the railway-line in the southern portion of Block VIII, Selwyn Survey District; thence continuing in a generally south-easterly direction along the main Dunsandel Road to its junction with Cowan’s Road in Block I, Southbridge Survey District; thence along Cowan’s Road to the Taumutu and Bridges’ Road to the junction of Inwood’s Road; thence continuing along Inwood’s Road and McEvedy’s Road in a southerly direction to the point where McEvedy’s Road joins the Taumutu-Rakaia Road; thence continuing along the aforesaid road in a north-easterly direction to the point where it meets Lake Ellesmere; thence continuing along the shore of Lake Ellesmere in a northerly, then southerly direction to a point where it meets the boundary of Ellesmere and Springs Counties; thence following the said boundary in a north-westerly direction to a point where it meets the Main Trunk Railway; thence continuing along the said railway to the point where it crosses Dunsandel Road, being the original point of commencement.

PURSUANT to the Bobby Calf Marketing Regulations 1939, notice has been received that

have been duly elected to be members of the Leeston-Lakeside Bobby Calf Pool Committee established by the said regulations.

The Lemon Marketing Regulations 1940.—Notice fixing Prices of certain Grades.

Wellington, 25th June, 1941.
PURSUANT to Regulation 5 : 1 of the Lemon Marketing Regulations 1940, I hereby fix the following prices per bushel to be paid by the Marketing Department for lemons of fancy grade and commercial grade respectively delivered to the Department during the undermentioned period.
The prices are fixed on an average basic price of 7s. 6d. for sufficient fruit which when cured will pack a bushel case.
Period of delivery (both days inclusive): 1st July to 15th July, 1941—

Notice as to an Area in North Auckland Land District declared to be a Fire District.
PURSUANT to section 27 of the Forests Act, 1921–22, and section 6 of the Forests Amendment Act, 1925, I do hereby notify that, on the recommendation of the Director of Forestry and the Land Board of the district, the area described in the Schedule hereto is hereby declared by me to be a fire district; and I do further specify the period from the 16th day of October in any year to the 15th day of April in the following year, inclusive, as the period during which it shall not be lawful for any person within the said district, save pursuant to the written permit of a Forest Officer, to set on fire, or cause to be set on fire, any timber (whether standing or not), or any undergrowth, or any debris from forest operations or any land-clearing operations, or any grass or other specially inflammable material, without taking such precautions as may be prescribed by a Forest Officer.
SCHEDULE.
NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—AUCKLAND FOREST-CONSERVATION REGION.
Herekino Fire District.
ALL that area in the North Auckland Land District, Mangonui County, containing approximately 23,000 acres, situated in Blocks V and VIII, Ahipara Survey District; Blocks IX, X, XIII, and XIV, Takahue Survey District; Block II, Herekino Survey District; and Block VII, Whangape Survey District, and bounded generally as follows: Commencing at the northernmost point of Allotment 53, Ahipara Parish; thence towards the north-east by Allotment S.W. 54, Ahipara Parish, Okahu Nos. 4E, 4D, 4C, and 4B Blocks, part of Section 29 and Section 28, Block X, Takahue Survey District; towards the south-east by a public road; and towards the north by a public road and part of Section 27, Block X, Takahue Survey District; towards the east by Section 26, Block X aforesaid, Section 11, Block XIV, Takahue Survey District, and the Herekino–Takahue Road; towards the south by a public road; towards the east by Section 4, Block XIV, Takahue Survey District; towards the south and south-east by the Herekino–Takahue Road; towards the south and south-west by public roads; towards the west by Ahipara Nos. 49K and 49F Blocks, Allotment 5, Ahipara Parish, and a public road; and towards the north-west by a public road to the point of commencement. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan No. 4/16, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Excluding Land from the Heretaunga Development Scheme.
PURSUANT to subsection (2) of section 4 of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1936, the Board of Native Affairs hereby revokes, so far as it affects the land described in the Schedule hereto, a certain notice dated the 11th day of August, 1931, and published in Gazette No. 61 of the 20th day of the same month at page 2326, whereby the provisions of subsection (3) of section 23 of the Native Land Amendment and Native Land Claims Adjustments Act, 1929 (now Part I of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1936) were applied to, inter alia, the said land, and such land is hereby excluded from the Heretaunga Development Scheme.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that piece of land situate in the Ikaroa Native Land Court District containing 20 acres 0 roods 17·5 perches, more or less, called or known as Omahu 2r, and situate in Block VI, Heretaunga Survey District.
