In the application of the foregoing prices each delivery
of milk at any premises not being those of the vendor or
purchaser of such milk shall be treated as if it were a separate
sale of such milk to the occupier of such premises.

Wherever reference is made herein to “milk district” or
“district” this shall be deemed to be a reference to the
Auckland Metropolitan Milk District constituted as above
mentioned.

The prices hereby fixed shall not affect in any way the
prices fixed by resolution of the Auckland Metropolitan Milk
Council dated the 16th August, 1940, relating to sales to
manufacturers of ice-cream or confectionery or with those
fixed by resolution of the said Council dated the 14th
February, 1941, relating to milk for use in schools.

  1. This Order is to continue until the 30th day of
    September, 1941, or until such earlier time as the Tribunal
    with the authority of the aforesaid Minister fixes different
    prices from those above mentioned.

IN pursuance of the powers conferred upon the Price
Tribunal by the Control of Prices Emergency Regulations
1939, and with the authority of the Minister of Industries and
Commerce, the Price Tribunal hereby makes the following
Price Order :—

  1. This Order may be cited as Price Order No. 38.

  2. The maximum price at which the undermentioned boot
    and floor polishes manufactured by the Nugget Polish
    Company of New Zealand, Limited, may be sold by way of
    retail at any place in New Zealand where a wholesale general
    merchant is situated shall be not more than as follows :—

  1. At any other place in New Zealand there may be added
    to the price hereby fixed the actual or proportionate amount
    (calculated to the next highest halfpenny) of any extra freight
    incurred from the nearest wholesale general merchant’s store
    to place of sale.

Price Order No. 39.


IN pursuance of the powers conferred upon the Price
Tribunal by the Control of Prices Emergency Regulations
1939, and with the authority of the Minister of Industries
and Commerce, the Price Tribunal hereby makes the following
Price Order :—

  1. This Order may be cited as Price Order No. 39.

  2. The maximum price at which three-in-one oil packed in
    the size specified in the first column of the Schedule hereto
    may be sold in New Zealand to a wholesaler, a retailer, or a
    consumer shall be not more than the price set out in the
    second, third, and fourth columns respectively of the said
    Schedule underneath each such type of sale and opposite
    each such size.


SCHEDULE.

Size. Maximum Price which may be charged to a Wholesaler. Maximum Price which may be charged to a Retailer. Maximum Price which may be charged to a Consumer.
1 oz. tin 6s. 9d. per dozen net, freight paid 7s. 9d. per dozen, plus sales tax 11d. each.
3 oz. tin 12s. 9d. per dozen net, freight paid 14s. 8½d. per dozen, plus sales tax 1s. 9d. each.

Electrical Wiremen’s Registration Act, 1925.—Results of Examinations, March, 1941.


IN the notice of the results of examinations held in March,
1941, published on page 1565 in New Zealand Gazette
No. 46, 5th June, 1941, the name of Williams, R. H., was
included in error in the passes for the Dunedin Centre in the
written part of the examination for Electrical Wiremen, and
the name of Wilson, A. J., was omitted and should be
included in the place of the name Williams, R. H.

notices calling them up for service overseas with the Armed Forces as being reservists of Class A of the First Division of the General Reserve, such persons having been severally convicted for that, being reservists belonging to a class of the Reserve the enrolment of which has been proclaimed, they did fail to make application in writing for enrolment in that class of the Reserve as required by Regulation 43 (1) of the National Service Emergency Regulations 1940.
