SCHEDULE.
KATIKATI BOBBY CALF MARKETING POOL AREA.
ALL that area of land situated in the Tauranga County and bounded by a line commencing at the point where the county boundary meets the sea-coast at the north-east corner of Block I, Katikati North Survey District; thence south-westerly, then south-easterly along the said boundary to the south-west corner of Block VIII, Aongatete Survey District; thence taking a straight line across country to the north-west corner of Section 110, Block VIII aforesaid, where it joins Works Road; thence continuing along Works Road in a north-easterly direction to a point where it joins Walford’s Road; thence south-easterly along the said road to a point where it meets the Waihi-Tauranga Railway-line; thence from this point taking a straight line across country to the north-east corner of Section 12, Block VI, Aongatete Survey District; thence from this point taking a straight line across country in a north-easterly direction to the northern-most point of Section Is, Block IV, Tauranga Survey District; thence from this point taking a straight line via Tauranga Harbour and the sea to the southernmost point on Matakana Island; thence following the county boundary and sea-coast in a north-westerly direction to the north-east corner of Block I, Katikati North Survey District, being the original point of commencement.

Cancellation of the Leeston Bobby Calf Marketing Pool Area.
PURSUANT to the Bobby Calf Marketing Regulations 1939, I, James Gillispie Barclay, Minister of Marketing, do hereby declare that the Leeston Bobby Calf Marketing Pool Area, as defined by notice given under the hand of the Minister of Marketing on the 6th day of August, 1940, and published in the New Zealand Gazette on the 8th August, 1940, at page 1868, to be duly cancelled as a pool area for the purposes of the said regulations; and I do hereby further declare that this notice shall take effect on the 26th day of June, 1941.

PURSUANT to the Bobby Calf Marketing Regulations 1939, I, James Gillispie Barclay, Minister of Marketing, do hereby declare that the Lakeside-Sedgemere Bobby Calf Marketing Pool Area, as defined by notice given under the hand of the Minister of Marketing on the 31st day of July, 1940, and published in the New Zealand Gazette on the 1st August, 1940, at page 1800, to be duly cancelled as a pool area for the purposes of the said regulations; and I do hereby further declare that this notice shall take effect on the 26th day of June, 1941.

PURSUANT to the Bobby Calf Marketing Regulations 1939, I, James Gillispie Barclay, Minister of Marketing, do hereby declare that the Tauranga Bobby Calf Marketing Pool Additional Area, as defined by notice given under the hand of the Minister of Marketing on the 17th day of August, 1938, and published in the New Zealand Gazette on the 18th day of August, 1938, at page 1878, to be duly cancelled as a pool area for the purposes of the said regulations; and I do hereby further declare that this notice shall take effect on the 26th day of June, 1941.

New Zealand Dairy Board Election, 1941.—Declaration of Result of Election in the Southern Ward.
I, LEONARD IRWIN, Returning Officer appointed under section 19 of the Agriculture (Emergency Powers) Act, 1934, do hereby declare that John Dunlop, of Seaward Downs, Southland, farmer, is the only candidate nominated for the election of a Southern Ward member of the New Zealand Dairy Board, the nominations whereof closed at noon on the 4th day of June, 1941.
I therefore declare the said John Dunlop to be duly elected.

CONTROL OF MERCHANT VESSELS BY AIRCRAFT OF THE ROYAL NEW ZEALAND AIR FORCE AND THE NEW ZEALAND NAVAL FORCES.
THE following methods for control of merchant vessels will be employed by aircraft of the Royal New Zealand Air Force and the New Zealand Naval Forces:—
(a) By Visual Signalling.
Aircraft will fly round the ship and will flash, in morse code, one of the following international signals:—
W.Z. You should stop your vessel instantly.
O.L. Heave to or I will open fire on you.
W.S. You should steer more to port.
W.T. You should steer more to starboard.
L.M.O. Proceed to……………
These signals may be amplified by other international signals or by a message flashed in plain language.
Orders given by aircraft of the Royal New Zealand Air Force or the New Zealand Naval Forces should be obeyed at once.
NOTE.—The ship will acknowledge the message as follows:—
(1) If daylight signalling apparatus is carried (by day or night)—by flashing the answering sign a succession of T’s.
(2) If no daylight signalling apparatus is carried by day—by hoisting answering pendant close up.
By Night.—By waving a white light in a suitable position as far away as possible from other sources of light.
(b) By Machine-gun.
If visual signal is disregarded, or if aircraft is not equipped with daylight signalling apparatus, the ship will be ordered to stop by machine-gun shots fired ahead of the challenged vessel.
The vessel should comply immediately, and should acknowledge as in the note to paragraph (a) above.
