Declaring a Bobby Calf Marketing Pool Area.

PURSUANT to the Bobby Calf Marketing Regulations 1939, I, James Gillispie Barclay, Minister of Marketing, being satisfied that a sufficient majority of the producers in the area of land defined in the Schedule hereto are desirous that such area should be declared to be a pool area for the marketing of bobby calves, do hereby declare such area of land, defined as aforesaid, to be a Bobby Calf Marketing Pool Area for the purpose of the said regulations under the name set out in the said Schedule; and I do hereby further declare that this notice shall take effect on the 26th day of June, 1941.

SCHEDULE.

OPOTIKI BOBBY CALF MARKETING POOL AREA.

ALL that area of land situated within the Whakatane and Opotiki Counties and bounded by a line commencing at the point where the boundary between the Whakatane and Opotiki Counties meets the sea-coast; thence following the said boundary in a south-westerly direction to the north-western corner of S.G. Run 6, Block VI, Whakatane Survey District; thence from this point following the eastern boundaries of S.G. Run 2, 3, and 4; thence westerly along the southern boundary of S.G. Run 4, Block V, Whakatane Survey District, to the north-eastern corner of Section I, Block IX aforesaid; thence in a southerly direction along the eastern boundaries of Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, and 10, Block IX aforesaid; thence along the eastern boundaries of Sections 14, 15, 16, 17, and 18, Block XIII, Whakatane Survey District; thence along the eastern boundaries of Sections 4 and 5; thence easterly along the southern boundary of Section 7, Block II, Waimana Survey District; thence southerly in a straight line across country to the south-western corner of Block VII aforesaid; thence taking a straight line across country in an easterly direction to the south-eastern corner of Block IV, Urutawa Survey District; thence in a straight line across country in a northerly direction to the north-east corner of Block IV, Tokata Survey District; thence taking a straight line across country to Parinui Point; thence from this point following the sea-coast in a westerly direction to the boundary between the Whakatane and Opotiki Counties, being the original point of commencement.

WAIMATE PLAINS BOBBY CALF MARKETING POOL AREA.

ALL that area of land situated within the Waimate West and Hawera Counties and bounded by a line commencing at the point where the Otakeho River crosses the boundary between the Eltham and Waimate West Counties in the north-western portion of Block XIV, Kaupokonui Survey District; thence continuing downstream in a southerly direction along the aforesaid river to the sea-coast; thence continuing along the sea-coast in a generally easterly direction to the western bank of the Waingongoro River; thence continuing generally in a northerly direction upstream along the western bank of the Waingongoro River to the point where the said river is intersected by the boundary of the Eltham Bobby Calf Marketing Pool Area in the south-east corner of Section 62, Block XIII, Ngaiere Survey District; thence continuing in a westerly direction along the southern boundaries of Sections 62 and 59, Block XIII, Ngaiere Survey District, and Section 55, Block XVI, Kaupokonui Survey District, to the north-western corner of subsection 7 of Section 136, Block IV, Waimate Survey District; thence from this point taking a straight line in a northerly direction across the centre of Section 52, Block XVI, Kaupokonui Survey District; thence in a westerly direction along the southern boundary of Sections 52, 46, 45, 44, 43, 42, 41, 40, and 34, then in a northerly direction along the western boundary of Section 34; thence in a westerly direction along the southern boundary of Section 11, Block XVI, Kaupokonui Survey District; thence northerly along the eastern boundary of Section 21; thence northerly, then westerly along the eastern and northern boundary of Section 19 to the south-east corner of Section 11, Block XV, Kaupokonui Survey District; thence in a northerly and westerly direction along Section 11 to the south-east corner of Section 9; thence continuing in a northerly direction along the eastern boundaries of Sections 9 and 7, then easterly along the southern boundaries of sections 4 and 5; thence northerly along the eastern boundary of Section 5; thence westerly along the boundary between the Eltham and Waimate West Counties to the point where it meets the Otakeho River, being the original point of commencement.
