A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the development of water-power; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-third day of June, one thousand nine hundred and forty-one.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken : 1 acre O roods 37 perches.
Being part Lot 7, D.P. 1990, being part Section 5 and closed road.
Situated in Block VI, Jacobs River Hundred (Southland R.D.). (S.O. 5567.)
In the Southland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 111326, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon edged red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 13th day of June, 1941.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, the Iron and Steel Industry Act, 1937, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the establishment of iron and steel works and subsidiary undertakings ; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-third day of June, one thousand nine hundred and forty-one.

Easement taken over Land in Block IV, Waiau Survey District, for the Development of Water-power. (Waikare-moana Lower Development Scheme).

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, as amended by section sixty-two of the Statutes Amendment Act, 1939, and of every other power and authority in any-wise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that for the development of water-power an easement is hereby taken over the land described in the First Schedule hereto vesting in His Majesty the King full and free liberty, right, license, and authority in perpetuity, to construct and use a right-of-way with the right for His Majesty's servants, agents, and workmen from time to time, and at all times hereafter to go, pass, and repass, with or without horses or other animals or vehicles over the said land, and to maintain, repair, and keep open the said right-of-way, such right-of-way being appurtenant to the land described in the Second Schedule hereto; and I do also declare that this proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-fourth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and forty-one.
FIRST SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land over which an ease-
ment is taken: 24.11 perches.
Being part Section 5; coloured pink.
SECOND SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land to which right-of-way appurtenant: 0.86 perches.
Being part Section 5; coloured orange.
All situated in Block IV, Waiau Survey District (Gisborne R.D.). (S.O. 4113, blue.)
All in the Gisborne Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 108556, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 13th day of June, 1941.
