Taking of Fish for Sale.
AN application has been received from I. and L. Vegar, Commerce Street, Kaitaia, for a license to take fish for sale by means of a 34 ft. fishing-vessel (under construction), using set-nets, drag-nets, long-lines, hand-lines, and crayfish pots, catches to be landed at Awanui.
Any person who considers he will be materially affected by the decision of the Bureau of Industry on this application, and who wishes to make representations accordingly, must furnish them in writing not later than the 12th June, 1941.

AN application has been received from C. O. Freeth, Auckland (by his Solicitors, Inder and Metcalfe), for a license to carry on the sale of motor-spirits from premises situated at Panmure Road, Ellerslie, Auckland, known as the “Mount Wellington Service Station.”
Any person who considers he will be materially affected by the decision of the Bureau of Industry on this application, and who wishes to make representations accordingly, must furnish them in writing not later than the 5th June, 1941.

The maximum price at which chewing-gum manufactured by Wrigley Products (N.Z.), Limited, may be sold by way of retail at any place in New Zealand shall be not more than as follows :—

The maximum price at which baking-powder manufactured by G. E. Winson, of Auckland, and bearing the trade name of either “Winson’s,” “Pam’s,” or “Snowflake” may be sold by way of retail at any place in New Zealand where a wholesale merchant buying such baking-powder “freight paid” is situated shall be not more than as follows :—
For a 14 oz. tin .. .. .. 1 5½
For a 5 lb. tin .. .. .. 7 6
For a 7 lb. tin .. .. .. 10 6
For a 12 lb. tin .. .. .. 17 9
- At any other place in New Zealand there may be added to the price hereby fixed the actual or proportionate amount (calculated to the next highest halfpenny) of any extra freight from such nearest wholesale merchant’s store to place of sale.
