Tairua Gold Mining Company, Limited (in Liquidation),

1941, at 4 p.m., for the purpose of receiving the liquidator’s
statement of account of the winding up of the said company.

CHRISTCHURCH CITY COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SECURITY RATE FOR HOUSING LOAN
No. 2, 1940.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, the
Christchurch City Council hereby resolves as follows:—
“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other
charges on a loan of £25,000, authorized to be raised by the
Christchurch City Council under the above-mentioned Act
for the purpose of purchasing land and erecting houses for
aged persons, the said Christchurch City Council hereby makes
and levies a special rate of ninety-three thousand seven
hundred and seventy-seven three million one hundred and
twenty-five thousandths of a penny (93777.300125d.) in the
pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property in
the City of Christchurch; and that such special rate shall be
an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan
and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and
every year during the currency of such loan, being a period
of thirty (30) years or until the loan is fully paid off.”

Court of New Zealand (Northern District), dated the
15th day of May, 1941, confirming the reduction of the
capital of the above-named company from £5,000 to £100,
and the minute (approved by the Court) showing with respect
to the capital of the company as altered the several particulars
required by the above statute, was registered by the Assistant
Registrar of Companies at Auckland on the 15th day of
May, 1941.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Registrar of Friendly
Societies has, pursuant to section 70 of the Friendly
Societies Act, 1909, by writing under his hand dated this
15th day of May, 1941, cancelled the registry of Hope of
Franklin Tent, No. 14, of the New Zealand District, No. 84,
of the Independent Order of Rechabites Friendly Society,
Salford Unity (Register No. 190/26), held at Pukekohe, on
the ground that the said branch has ceased to exist.

TUNG OIL PLANTATIONS (N.Z.), LIMITED.
IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION.
In the matter of the Companies Act, 1933, and in the
matter of TUNG OIL PLANTATIONS (N.Z.), LIMITED.
NOTICE is hereby given that at a meeting of shareholders
of the above-named company, held at 304 Dilworth
Building, Customs Street, Auckland, on Wednesday, the
7th day of May, 1941, the following special resolution was
passed:—
“That this company be wound up voluntarily as a members’
voluntary winding up, and that REGINALD WAUGHOR LOCK,
of Auckland, Public Accountant, be and he is hereby appointed
as liquidator.”
All persons or companies having claims against the above-
named company are required to send full particulars thereof
to the undersigned on or before 31st day of May, 1941, other-
wise they may be excluded from participation in any distri-
bution of assets.

IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION.
PURSUANT to section 222 of the Companies Act, 1933,
notice is hereby given that at an extraordinary general
meeting of shareholders of the Cromwell Hydro Electric
Gold Dredging, Limited, the following extraordinary resolu-
tion was passed:—
“That it is proved to the satisfaction of this meeting that
this company cannot by reason of its liabilities continue its
business and that it is advisable to wind up voluntarily,
and that, accordingly, R. W. LOCK, F.P.A.N.Z., Public
Accountant, of 304 Dilworth Building, Auckland, be and he is
hereby appointed as liquidator of the company.”
All parties having any claims against the company are
requested to forward their claims to the liquidator on or before
31st May, 1941.
