All in the Otago Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 109091, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 24th day of April, 1941.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the road described in the Schedule hereto is hereby closed for defence purposes; and I do also hereby declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-sixth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and forty-one.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of piece of road closed: 6 acres 1 rood 16·5 perches.

Being portion of Dukes Road and Wingatui Road adjoining or passing through Lot 1 and part Lot 2 (D.P. 4656) of Section 1 of 5s, Crosshill Settlement, and part Section 2, Block X, East Taieri Survey District; part Section 6s, Crosshill Settlement, and Sections 13 and 14, Block IX, East Taieri Survey District; Sections 11 and 12, Block V, East Taieri Survey District; and Sections 7 and 8, Block VI, East Taieri Survey District (Otago R.D.). (S.O. 9230.)

In the Otago Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 110901, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance of the power and authority conferred upon me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare as stopped the Government road described in the Schedule hereto, such road being no longer required.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of road hereby stopped:—

A. R. P. Adjoining or passing through
0 2 26·4\ Parts Allotment 322, Mangapiko Parish; 0 3 24·1\ coloured green.

Situated in Block VI, Puniu Survey District (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 29712.)

In the Auckland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 100657, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 9th day of May, 1941.

Proclaiming Native Land to have become Crown Land.

A PROCLAMATION.

PURSUANT to section four hundred and fifty-four of the Native Land Act, 1931, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, being satisfied that the purchase of the Native land described in the Schedule hereto has been duly completed by or on behalf of the Crown, do hereby proclaim that the said land has become Crown land.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area containing by admeasurement 3 acres 0 roods 14·4 perches, more or less, being part of Section 4, part Ngatitupaea Block, Block II, Hawera Survey District. As the same is delineated on the plan marked N.L.P. 1918/20/382, deposited in the Head Office, Native Department, at Wellington, and thereon edged red. (S.O. plan 7944.)

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 7th day of April, 1941.

PURSUANT to section four hundred and fifty-four of the Native Land Act, 1931, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, being satisfied that the land described in the Schedule hereto has been vested in the Crown under the provisions of the said Act, do hereby proclaim that the said land has become Crown land.

ALL that piece of land situate in Block X, Rangitaiki Upper Survey District, and known as Te Toko A Section 5 Block, containing 25 acres 0 roods 5 perches, more or less.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 7th day of April, 1941.
