Description of Run: This run is situated about eleven miles from Riversdale Township. Altitude is from 500 ft. to 1,700 ft. Approximately 4,660 acres lie west of the Wendon Stream, of which a considerable portion faces south to south-east and is rather badly overgrown with bracken and manuka. The higher portion of this area is open silver tussock land free from scrub and, although providing fair summer grazing, would carry little stock through the winter. The balance of the run is good low tussock country, of which about 132 acres have been cultivated.

Lot 1 of Run 193, Blocks VI, XIII, XV, and XVI, Wendon Survey District. Area: 3,701 acres. Annual rent, £145. Weighted with £1,495 (payable in cash), for improvements comprising dwelling, sheds, yards, fencing, &c.

Description of Run: This run is situated about twelve miles and a half from Riversdale Township and ten miles from Freshford Railway-station. Altitude ranges from 600 ft. to 1,700 ft., and the aspect is variable but good generally. Manuka is in evidence along the foothills on the western side, but the affected area comprises only a small portion of the run. The run generally is well covered with silver tussock and native grasses.
