Major (temp.) K. B. McKenzie-Muirson, M.C., relinquishes the appointment of Officer Commanding, No. 3 Training Battalion, Mobilization Camp, Trentham, and is appointed Staff Officer, Training, Mobilization Camp, Trentham. Dated 27th March, 1941.

Captain R. C. Hollis, M.C., relinquishes the appointment of Company Commander, No. 2 Training Battalion, Mobilization Camp, Trentham, and is appointed to command, temporarily, No. 3 Training Battalion, Mobilization Camp, Trentham. Dated 27th March, 1941.

Captain J. D. Hutchison relinquishes the appointment of Deputy Assistant Adjutant-General, Southern Military District, is appointed Assistant Adjutant-General, Southern Military District, Christchurch, and is granted the temporary rank of Major while so employed. Dated 27th March, 1941.

Captain C. J. J. Storie relinquishes the appointment of District Ordnance Officer, Southern Military District, Burnham, and is appointed District Ordnance Officer, Northern Military District, Ngaruawahia. Dated 11th April, 1941.

Lieutenant A. A. Barwick relinquishes the appointment of Assistant District Ordnance Officer, Southern Military District, Burnham, and is appointed Assistant Ordnance Officer, Main Ordnance Depot, Trentham. Dated 18th April, 1941.

Lieutenant A. J. Fox-Smith, M.I.M.E., relinquishes the appointment of Adjutant, 2nd Field Company, Corps of N.Z. Engineers, and is appointed Adjutant, 6th (Works) Company and 22nd Field Company (Detachment), Corps of N.Z. Engineers (Wellington). Dated 27th March, 1941.

Lieutenant (temp.) C. O. Barnett, M.N.Z.I.S., A.M.T.P.I. (Lond.), Corps of N.Z. Engineers, to be Lieutenant (temp.), and is appointed Adjutant, 2nd Field Company and No. 5 (Works) Company, Corps of N.Z. Engineers, Wellington. Dated 24th March, 1941.

Archibald R. Mackenzie (late Imperial Army), to be Lieutenant (temp.), and is appointed Platoon Commander, Guards, Vital Points, Central Military District. Dated 29th March, 1941.

Lieutenant N. M. Bradanovich, B.D.S., N.Z. Dental Corps, relinquishes the appointment of Dental Officer, Mobilization Camp, Papakura, and is transferred to the Reserve of Officers, Supplementary List. Dated 20th March, 1941.

COMMAND.
Major J. L. McAlister, M.C., The New Zealand Scottish Regiment, is appointed to command the 1st Battalion, and is granted the temporary rank of Lieutenant-Colonel while so employed. Dated 1st January, 1941.

2nd Lieutenant (temp.) W. J. C. Patterson is granted the temporary rank of Lieutenant. Dated 3rd February, 1941.

2nd Lieutenant (temp.) J. B. Meeking is granted the temporary rank of Lieutenant. Dated 3rd February, 1941.

2nd Lieutenant K. K. Gascoigne is granted the temporary rank of Lieutenant. Dated 3rd February, 1941.

N.Z. ARTILLERY.
Captain H. G. Flux, 8th Battery, 8th Medium Regiment, is granted the temporary rank of Major. Dated 7th March, 1941.

Lieutenant (temp.) S. Menzies, 2nd Battery, 1st Field Regiment, is granted the temporary rank of Captain. Dated 17th March, 1941.

2nd Lieutenant (temp.) P. J. Croft, 2nd Battery, 1st Field Regiment, is granted the temporary rank of Lieutenant. Dated 17th March, 1941.

2nd Lieutenant (temp.) G. J. Benfield ceases to be posted to the 6th Battery, 3rd Field Regiment, and is posted to the 18th Heavy Battery, 11th Heavy Regiment. Dated 31st March, 1941.

The commission granted to 2nd Lieutenant (temp.) A. B. Walker, 11th Heavy Battery, 9th Heavy Regiment, is hereby cancelled. Dated 14th February, 1941.

CORPS OF N.Z. ENGINEERS.
Captain E. F. Scott, from the Reserve of Officers, to be Captain, and is appointed to command the 7th (Works) Company. Dated 6th December, 1940.

Lieutenant (temp.) R. H. Toy, B.Arch., M.Inst.H.E. (Eng.), A.M.(N.Z.)I.E., 1st Field Company, is granted the temporary rank of Captain. Dated 31st March, 1941.

THE AUCKLAND REGIMENT (COUNTESS OF RANFURLY’S OWN).
2nd Lieutenant (temp. Lieutenant) I. G. McLean, 1st Battalion, relinquishes the temporary rank of Lieutenant, and is transferred to the North Auckland Regiment. Dated 25th March, 1941.

THE NORTH AUCKLAND REGIMENT.
2nd Lieutenant I. G. McLean, from the Auckland Regiment (Countess of Ranfurly’s Own), to be 2nd Lieutenant, with seniority from 1st October, 1939, is posted to the 1st Battalion, and is granted the temporary rank of Lieutenant with seniority from 1st January, 1941. Dated 25th March, 1941.

Henry Bonn Smith to be 2nd Lieutenant (temp.), and is posted to the 1st Battalion. Dated 11th March, 1941.
