Declaring Lands in the Otago Land District to be subject to the Provisions of Section 23 of the Reserves and other Lands Disposal Act, 1939.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by section twenty-three of the Reserves and other Lands Disposal Act, 1939, it is enacted that the Governor-General may by Proclamation declare any lands of the Crown to be subject to the provisions of that section to enable certain readjustment of leases and licenses to be carried into effect :

And whereas it is deemed expedient that the lands described in the Schedule hereto should be subject to the provisions of the said section :

Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities so conferred upon me by subsection one of the aforesaid section twenty-three, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare, that from and after the date of gazetting hereof, the lands described in the Schedule hereto shall be subject to the provisions of the said section twenty-three of the Reserves and other Lands Disposal Act, 1939.

Cancelling the Reservation over a Reserve in Hohonu Survey District, Westland Land District.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 30th day of April, 1941.

Present:

THE RIGHT HON. P. FRASER PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one (b) of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby cancel the reservation over the Laketown Township Reserve described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby declare that the said land, being vested in the Crown, is Crown land available for disposal under the Land Act, 1924.

WESTLAND LAND DISTRICT.

RESERVE 643, Block XVI, Hohonu Survey District: Area, 160 acres, more or less.

Recreation Reserve in North Auckland Land District brought under Part II of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 30th day of April, 1941.

Present:

THE RIGHT HON. P. FRASER PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

BY virtue of the powers and authorities vested in me by the thirty-fourth section of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, do hereby order and declare that the reserve for recreation in the North Auckland Land District described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby brought under the operation of and declared to be subject to the provisions of Part II of the said Act, and such reserve shall hereafter form part of the Broadwood Domain, and be managed, administered, and dealt with as a public domain by the Broadwood Domain Board.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.

SECTION 86, Block II, Whangape Survey District: Area, 2 acres, more or less.
