Land proclaimed as Road in Block I, Makuri Survey District, Pahiatua County.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as road the land in Makuri Survey District described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land proclaimed as road :—

A. R. P. Being
0 3 32 Portion of Section 53 ; coloured purple.
0 2 35 Portion of Section 54 ; coloured blue.

Situated in Block I, Makuri Survey District. (S.O. 20681.)

In the Wellington Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 110744, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 30th day of April, 1941.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as closed the street described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the street closed : 3 roods 10 perches. Passing through part Rural Section 197 (City of Christchurch) (Canterbury R.D.). (S.O. 7249.)

In the Canterbury Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 108360, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 30th day of April, 1941.

Proclaiming Native Land to have become Crown Land.

A PROCLAMATION.

PURSUANT to section four hundred and fifty-four of the Native Land Act, 1931, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, being satisfied that the land described in the Schedule hereto has been duly completed by or on behalf of the Crown under the authority of the said Act, do hereby proclaim that the said land has become Crown land.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that piece or parcel of land situate in the Waiotaka Survey District and containing 1,150 acres, more or less, being all the land comprised in an order of the Native Land Court on partition made on the 27th day of November, 1939, called or known as Hautu 4B 2B 2B No. 1 Block.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 2nd day of May, 1941.

Settlement Land in Canterbury Land District set apart for Disposal by way of Sale or Lease to Discharged Soldiers under Special Tenures.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance of the power and authority conferred upon me by section four of the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby set apart and declared open for disposal by way of sale or lease to discharged soldiers under special tenures in the manner provided in the said Act.

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT.—SETTLEMENT LAND.

Waimate Survey District.—Waimate Settlement.

SECTION 36 : Area, 275 acres 1 rood 30 perches.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 6th day of May, 1941.

Declaring Lands in Canterbury Land District to be subject to the Provisions of Section 23 of the Reserves and other Lands Disposal Act, 1939.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by section twenty-three of the Reserves and other Lands Disposal Act, 1939, it is enacted that the Governor-General may by Proclamation declare any lands of the Crown to be subject to the provisions of that section to enable certain readjustments of leases and licenses to be carried into effect :

And whereas it is deemed expedient that the lands described in the Schedule hereto should be subject to the provisions of the said section :

Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities so conferred upon me by subsection one of the aforesaid section twenty-three, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare, that from and after the date of gazetting hereof, the lands described in the Schedule hereto shall be subject to the provisions of the said section twenty-three of the Reserves and other Lands Disposal Act, 1939.
