SPECIAL AREA.
Alteration of Boundary.
In the matter of the Christchurch District Drainage Amendment Act, 1922, and in the matter of the Special Area defined by resolution of the Board dated the 17th day of April, 1923, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 37 of the 26th day of April, 1923, and as altered under the provisions of section 5, Christchurch District Drainage Amendment Act, 1922, by resolution of the Christchurch Drainage Board dated the 15th day of February, 1927, the 21st day of June, 1927, the 16th day of April, 1930, the 16th day of February, 1932, the 21st day of March, 1933, the 19th day of November, 1935, the 26th day of May, 1936, the 25th day of June, 1936, the 22nd day of June, 1937, the 23rd day of November, 1937, the 22nd day of March, 1938, the 27th day of September, 1938, the 28th day of March, 1939, the 31st day of October, 1939, the 28th day of May, 1940, the 23rd day of July, 1940, the 22nd day of October, 1940, and the 19th day of December, 1940, and published in the New Zealand Gazettes Nos. 11, 54, 37, 14, 23, 89, 40, 46, 42, 2, 26, 13, 23, 143, 60, 102, 113, and 6, dated the 3rd day of March, 1927, the 28th day of July, 1927, the 22nd day of May, 1930, the 25th day of February, 1932, the 6th day of April, 1933, the 8th day of December, 1935, the 18th day of June, 1936, the 16th day of July, 1936, the 8th day of July, 1937, the 20th day of January, 1938, the 31st day of March, 1938, the 2nd day of March, 1939, the 13th day of April, 1939, the 7th day of December, 1939, the 13th day of June, 1940, the 3rd day of October, 1940, the 7th day of November, 1940, and the 30th day of January, 1941, respectively, known as the “Sewer Extension Loan Special Area.”
PURSUANT to the powers vested in it by the Christchurch District Drainage Amendment Act, 1922, section 5, the Christchurch Drainage Board hereby resolves that the boundary of the Special Area hereinbefore described and defined shall be further altered so as to include in the said Special Area all those areas more particularly described in the Schedules hereto; and further resolves that the said areas shall form part of and be included in the Subdivision B of the said Special Area and that the boundaries of the said Subdivision B shall be altered accordingly so as to include all those areas more particularly described in the Schedules hereto.
FIRST SCHEDULE.
ALL that area of land in the Canterbury Land District commencing at a point on the Special Area boundary, such point being the north-eastern corner of Lot 3 on Deposit Plan 10942; thence easterly along the northern boundaries of Lots 24, 23, 22, 21, 20, 19, 18, 17, 16, and 15 to Birchfield Avenue; thence northerly along the western side of Birchfield Avenue to Cresswell Avenue; thence generally in a westerly direction along the southern side of Cresswell Avenue and a line in continuation thereof across New Brighton Road to a point on the eastern boundary of the land contained in certificate of title, Vol. 15, folio 27, Canterbury Registry; thence northerly, westerly, and southerly along the boundaries of the aforementioned land contained in certificate of title, Vol. 15, folio 27, to the north-eastern corner of Lot 1, Deposit Plan 6953; thence westerly along the northern boundary of Lots 1, 2, and 3 on Deposit Plan 6953 and Lot 3 on Deposit Plan 9527, to the eastern boundary of Lot 2 on Deposit Plan 9527; thence northerly and westerly along the eastern and northern boundaries of the said Lot 2, Deposit Plan 9527, to the north-western corner thereof; thence northerly across Lot 1 on Deposit Plan 9527, to and along the eastern boundary of Lot 7 on Deposit Plan 6953 to the southern boundary of the land contained in certificate of title, Vol. 86, folio 27; thence easterly to the south-eastern corner of the said land contained in certificate of title, Vol. 86, folio 27; thence northerly along the eastern boundary thereof and the eastern boundary of the land contained in certificate of title, Vol. 86, folio 28, to the southern boundary of the land contained in certificate of title, Vol. 139, folio 268; thence across the said land in a north-westerly direction to the south-eastern corner of Lot 1 on Deposit Plan 8924; thence northerly and westerly along the boundary of the said Lot 1 on Deposit Plan 8924 to Golf Links Road; thence northerly along the eastern side of Golf Links Road to the north-western corner of Lot 8 on Deposit Plan 5119; thence westerly to and along the northern boundary of Lot 7 on Deposit Plan 5119 to a point in prolongation of a line in continuation of the western boundary of Lot 4 on Deposit Plan 8300; thence southerly along the said line and the western boundary of the said Lot 4 on Deposit Plan 8300, to and across Lots 3, 2, and 1 on Deposit Plan 5119 to the north-western corner of the land contained in certificate of title, Vol. 18, folio 196; thence southerly along the western boundary of the said land contained in certificate of title, Vol. 18, folio 196, to a point on the Special Area boundary, such point being the north-western corner of Lot 3 on Deposit Plan 9187; thence along the Special Area boundary to the north-eastern corner of Lot 3 on Deposit Plan 10942, the place of commencement.
SECOND SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District, situated in Block XV, Christchurch Survey District, bounded by a line commencing at a point on the existing boundary of the Special Area on Albert Terrace, being the north-western corner of Lot 1, Deposit Plan 7566; thence easterly along the northern boundary of the said Lot 1, Deposit Plan 7566, Lot 136, Deposit Plan 7182, and Lot 1, Deposit Plan 10297, to and across Albert Terrace; thence along the southern side of Roscoe Street to the north-eastern corner of Lot 1, Deposit Plan 8624; thence southerly and westerly along the eastern and southern boundaries of the said Lot 1, Deposit Plan 8624, to Albert Terrace; thence south-westerly across Albert Terrace to the easternmost corner of Lot 1, Deposit Plan 10297; thence southerly along Albert Terrace to the easternmost corner of Lot 3, Deposit Plan 10297; thence westerly along the southern boundary of the said Lot 3, Deposit Plan 10297, and its production across Lot 84, Deposit Plan 7182, to the eastern boundary of Lot 1, Deposit Plan 7566; thence southerly along that boundary and westerly along the southern boundary of Lot 1 aforesaid and part Lot 2, Deposit Plan 7566, to the southernmost corner of Lot 1, Deposit Plan 10851, being a point on the existing boundary of the Special Area; thence northerly, easterly, and again northerly along that boundary to the point of commencement.
All that area in the Canterbury Land District containing by admeasurement 30 perches, more or less, and being Lot 1, Plan No. 6985, deposited in the Office of the District Land Registrar at Christchurch, and being part of Rural Section 54, situated in Block XV, Christchurch Survey District, being the whole of the land comprised in certificate of title, Vol. 356, folio 167, Canterbury Registry.
