to be Chief Gas Examiner and a Gas Referee for the purposes of the Board of Trade (Gas) Regulations 1924, on and from the 1st day of March, 1941.

William Donovan, M.Sc., F.I.C.,

to be a Gas Referee for the purposes of the Board of Trade (Gas) Regulations 1924, on and from the 1st day of March, 1941.

Reginald Stoneham Maurice Mason and James Gibson

to be Inspectors for the purposes of the Rabbit Nuisance Act, 1928, and the Noxious Weeds Act, 1928, on and from the 1st day of April, 1941.

THE following notice, received from the Mayor, Huntly Borough Council, is published in accordance with the provisions of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926.

BOROUGH OF HUNTLY.

PURSUANT to section 13 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, I hereby give notice that at a poll of the ratepayers of the Borough of Huntly, taken on the 29th day of March, 1941, on the proposal of the Huntly Borough Council to borrow the sum of £12,500 for the purpose of erecting a picture theatre and for furnishing and equipping the same with the necessary plant:—

Votes.
The number of votes recorded for the proposal was . . 221
The number of votes recorded against the proposal was 82
Informal . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 10

I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.
