LAND TRANSFER ACT NOTICES.

EVIDENCE of the loss of certificate of title, Vol. 554,
folio 91 (Auckland Registry), for part Allotment 318,
Town of Hamilton West, in favour of FREDERICK LESLIE
BOWRON and DOUGLAS GEORGE SMITH, both of
Christchurch, Sheep-farmers, as tenants in common in equal
shares, having been lodged with me together with an appli-
cation for a new certificate of title in lieu thereof, notice is
hereby given of my intention to issue such new certificate
of title after fourteen days from 10th April, 1941.

WAIKOHU COUNTY COUNCIL.

PENDREIGH’S BRIDGE LOAN, £800.

Resolution making a Special Rate.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, the
Waikohu County Council hereby resolves as follows:—
“ For the purpose of providing the interest and other
charges on a loan of eight hundred pounds, authorized to be
raised by the Waikohu County Council under the above-
mentioned Act, for the purpose of building a bridge and its
approaches over the Hangaroa River at Pendreigh’s crossing,
the said Waikohu County Council hereby makes and levies a
special rate of one penny in the pound upon the rateable
value of all ratable property in the Pendreigh’s Bridge Special-
rating Area comprising:—

And that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate
during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on
the 1st day of July in each and every year during the currency
of such loan, being a period of twenty years or until the loan
is fully paid off.”
In witness whereof the common seal of the Chairman,
Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Waikohu was
hereto affixed on the 25th day of March, 1941.

L.R.C.S. (Edin.), 1937, L.R.F.P.S. (Glasgow), 1937,
now residing in Thames, hereby give notice that I intend
applying on the 9th January, 1941, to have my name placed
on the Medical Register of the Dominion of New Zealand ;
and that I have deposited the evidence of my qualification in
the office of the Department of Health at Wellington.
