And whereas it is expedient that the vesting of the said land as hereinbefore referred to should be cancelled, and the Pahiatua County Council has duly consented to such cancellation:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one of section ten of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby cancel the vesting in the Pahiatua County Council of the land described in the Schedule hereto.

Vesting a Reserve in the Springs County Council.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 26th day of March, 1941.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto has been duly set apart as a reserve for gravel purposes: And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor-General, it is expedient to vest the said reserve in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Springs:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section nine of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that from and after the day of the date hereof, the reserve described in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Springs, in trust, for gravel purposes.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto has been duly set apart as a reserve for a site for a resting-place for travelling-stock: And whereas it is expedient that the control of the said reserve should be vested in the Marlborough County Council:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section seventeen of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby vest the control of the said reserve in the Marlborough County Council.

ALL that area containing by admeasurement 2 acres 1 rood 6 perches, more or less, being part of Section 18s, Erina Settlement, Block II, Avon Survey District, bounded: Towards the north and east by other part of Section 18s, 763·6 links and 300·5 links respectively; towards the south by parts of original Sections 3 and 14, Block I, Wairau Valley R.D., and a public road, 763·7 links; and towards the west by Section 12s, Erina Settlement, 300·5 links; be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 6/1/645, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in him by the Valuation of Land Act, 1925, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and direct that the district valuation rolls for the districts enumerated in the Schedule hereto shall be revised by the Valuer-General as at the 31st day of March, 1941.

IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred upon me by subsection one (d) of section fifty-two of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby authorize the Orewa Domain Board to erect a public hall on that portion of the Orewa Domain under its control described in the Schedule hereto.
