Allocating Railway Land to the Purposes of a Road in Block IV, Maruwenua Survey District.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto (and which was acquired for a portion of the Waitaki-Bluff Railway (Duntroon to Kurow Branch) but is not now required for such purpose) shall upon the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette become road, and that such road shall be maintained by the Waitaki County Council in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Council.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land dealt with: 3 roods 25·1 perches.

Being part Railway land, Block IV, Maruwenua Survey District (Otago R.D.). (S.O. 9169.)

In the Otago Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 108781, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 24th day of March, 1941.

Crown Land set apart for the Greymouth-Hokitika Railway in Block XVI, Greymouth Survey District.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for the Greymouth-Hokitika Railway; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the thirty-first day of March, one thousand nine hundred and forty-one.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of Crown land set apart: 19·8 perches.

Being closed road adjoining Railway Reserve No. 6.

Situated in Block XVI, Greymouth Survey District (Westland R.D.). (S.O. 3372.)

In the Westland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 97293, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 19th day of March, 1941.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for the development of water power; and I do also hereby declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the thirty-first day of March, one thousand nine hundred and forty-one.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of Crown land set apart: 1 rood.

Being part Owharoa No. 2 Block.

Situated in Block XIV, Ohinemuri Survey District (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 30954.)

In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 109241, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 24th day of March, 1941.

Defining the Middle-line of a Road in Blocks V, VI, and X, Ohinewairua Survey District—viz., Deviations of the Horopito-Bulls via Taihape Main Highway.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the middle-line of a road desired to be constructed over Blocks V, VI, and X, Ohinewairua Survey District—viz., deviations of the Horopito-Bulls via Taihape Main Highway—shall be that defined and set forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

COMMENCING at a point on the existing Horopito-Bulls via Taihape Main Highway at the western boundary of part Subdivision 2B 12, Motukawa Block, Block V, Ohinewairua Survey District, and proceeding thence in an easterly and then south-easterly direction generally for a distance of 7 miles 40 chains, and passing in, into, through, or over the
