Exemption Order under the Transport Legislation Emergency Regulations 1940.
Pursuant to the Transport Legislation Emergency Regulations 1940, the Minister of Transport doth hereby order and declare that the provisions of clause (1) of Regulation 7 of the Motor-drivers Regulations 1940, so far as they relate to drivers of motor-omnibuses, shall not apply to Lulu Joyce Thomas, of Okaiawa.

Poukawa Drainage Area.—Penalty on Overdue Rates.

Wellington, 3rd March, 1941.
In pursuance of section 76 of the Rating Act, 1925, and the Swamp Drainage Act, 1915, and its amendments, the ratepayers within the Poukawa Drainage Rating Area are hereby notified that 10 per centum additional will be added to all rates for the year ending 31st March, 1941, unpaid on the 20th March, 1941.
Rates may be paid to the Collector of Rates, Lands and Survey Department, Napier.

Notice as to the making of By-laws under the Agricultural and Pastoral Societies Amendment Act, 1933.—(Notice No. Ag. 3814.)
Notice is hereby given in pursuance of the Agricultural and Pastoral Societies Amendment Act, 1933, as amended by section 4 of the Statutes Amendment Act, 1936, of the making by the Waimarino Agricultural, Pastoral, Horticultural, and Industrial Association on the 15th day of November, 1940, and of the approval by the Governor-General on the 26th day of February, 1941, of by-laws under the above-entitled Act, controlling the admission of persons to any place used or occupied by the said association for any meeting, show, exhibition, competition, or entertainment held by the said association which said by-laws came into force on the last-mentioned date. The by-laws made by the Feilding Industrial, Agricultural and Pastoral Association on the 25th day of October, 1935, and published in the Gazette on the 21st day of November, 1935, at page 3383, are substantially the same as the by-laws made by the first-mentioned society.

It is hereby notified for general information that, in pursuance of the powers vested in me by Regulation 44 of the National Service Emergency Regulations 1940, I have this day issued to—
Frederick Horace Sanders, Fisherman, of Royal Mail Hotel, Coromandel, Registration No. 433430,
a notice calling him up for service overseas with the Armed Forces as being a reservist of Class A of the First Division of the General Reserve, such person having been convicted for that, being a reservist belonging to a class of the Reserve the enrolment of which has been proclaimed, he did fail to make application in writing for enrolment in that class of the Reserve as required by Regulation 43 (1) of the National Service Emergency Regulations 1940.

The National Service Emergency Regulations 1940.—Notice under Regulation 19 requiring Men, who have been called up for Service with the Armed Forces, to report.
I, ALBERT EDWARD CONWAY, Adjutant-General, New Zealand Military Forces, and an authorized officer for the purposes of the above-mentioned regulations, do hereby give notice pursuant to the provisions of Regulation 19 of the said regulations, that the men whose names, addresses, and descriptions are given in the Schedule attached (being men who have been called up in accordance with the said regulations for service with the Armed Forces), are required to report at the respective times and places shown in the said Schedule.
