Lieutenant-Colonel R. Tilsley, M.C., D.C.M., E.D., Reserve of Officers, The Auckland Regiment (Countess of Ranfurly’s Own), to be Major, with pay and allowances of a Captain, and is appointed Company Commander, Training Battalion, Mobilization Camp, Papakura. Dated 3rd June, 1940.
Major R. Tilsley, M.C., D.C.M., E.D., relinquishes the appointment of Company Commander, Training Battalion, Mobilization Camp, Papakura, and is appointed Officer Commanding No. 1 Training Battalion, Mobilization Camp, Papakura. Dated 7th January, 1941.
Major I. E. Faris, M.B., Ch.B., D.P.H., Retired List, to be Captain, and is appointed Senior Medical Officer, Northern Military District School of Instruction, Narrow Neck. Dated 15th October, 1940.
Captain I. E. Faris, M.B., Ch.B., D.P.H., to be Major. Dated 20th December, 1940.
Captain E. A. Porritt, M.C., is granted the temporary rank of Major while employed as Officer Commanding No. 3 Training Battalion, Mobilization Camp, Trentham. Dated 1st December, 1940.
Captain H. M. Conway relinquishes the appointment of Company Commander, No. 1 Training Battalion, Mobilization Camp, Trentham, is appointed Camp Quartermaster, Mobilization Camp, Trentham, and is granted the temporary rank of Major while so employed. Dated 1st January, 1941.
Captain H. M. Hopper relinquishes the appointment of Company Commander, 20th Company, National Military Reserve, and is appointed Assistant Area Officer, No. 12 Area, Invercargill. Dated 21st January, 1941.
Captain H. G. Simpson, N.Z. Dental Corps, ceases to be attached to the Royal N.Z. Air Force Station, Levin, and is seconded to the Royal Navy. Dated 28th January, 1941.
Lieutenant G. Holderness to be Captain. Dated 25th October, 1940.
Lieutenant N. Comrie-Smith to be Captain. Dated 3rd January, 1941.
Lieutenant E. W. George, M.C., to be Captain. Dated 23rd January, 1941.
Lieutenant G. E. Merrick, N.Z. Dental Corps, relinquishes the appointment of Dental Officer, Mobilization Camp, Trentham, and is attached to the Royal N.Z. Air Force Station, Levin. Dated 27th January, 1941.

Maurice Heaton O’Rorke, M.C. (late Imperial Army), to be Lieutenant, and is granted the temporary rank of Captain. Dated 1st August, 1940.

Lieutenant P. J. McB. Coleman, The Taranaki Regiment (attached under the provisions of paragraph 141, Regulations for the N.Z. Military Forces, 1927), is granted the temporary rank of Captain. Dated 1st November, 1940..
