Manufacture of Gut from Casings.
AN application has been received from MacQuarie Manufacturers Pty., Ltd., Sydney, for a licence to commence to carry on the above industry.
Any person who considers he will be materially affected by the decisions of the Bureau of Industry on this application, and who wishes to make representations accordingly, must furnish them in writing not later than the 6th March, 1941.

Manufacture for Sale of Footwear.
AN application has been received from A. J. V. Brackstone, J. E. G. McKenzie, and M. E. Andrews, trading as the Vita Shoe Co., 85 Stanley Street, Auckland, for an extension of their existing licence covering the manufacture of youths’, boys’, children’s, girls’, and maids’ shoes by the machine-sewn and fairstitch methods so as to include the manufacture of sandals and the use of the cemented process.
Any person who considers he will be materially affected by the decision of the Bureau of Industry on this application, and who wishes to make representations accordingly, must furnish them in writing not later than the 6th March, 1941.

AN application has been received from L. Scott, Goose Bay, for a licence to take fish for sale, using set-nets, long-lines, hand-lines, and crayfish pots, catches to be landed at Goose Bay, Kaikoura.
