Raupo Wharf: Revocation of Foreshore License.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 12th day
of February, 1941.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR OF THE GOVERNMENT
IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by Order in Council dated the twenty-
seventh day of April, one thousand nine hundred
and thirty-one, and published in the Gazette of the thirtieth
day of the same month, at page 1363, the management of
certain wharves was vested in the Otamatea County Council :
And whereas the wharf at Raupo has been removed, and
it is desirable to amend the hereinbefore-recited Order in
Council :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Administrator of the
Government of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance
and exercise of the power and authority conferred upon him
by the Harbours Act, 1923, and of all other powers and
authorities enabling him in that behalf, and acting by and
with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the
said Dominion, doth hereby revoke the hereinbefore-recited
Order in Council of the twenty-seventh day of April, one
thousand nine hundred and thirty-one, in so far as it refers,
relates, or applies to the wharf at Raupo.

Consenting to the Assignment to Thomas David Goodger, of
Lindis Pass, Runholder, by James Goodger, formerly of
Lindis Pass, Farmer, of his Rights, Powers, and Privileges
under an Order in Council dated the 5th August, 1936.

February, 1941.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR OF THE
GOVERNMENT IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by
the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power
in anywise enabling him in that behalf, His Excellency the
Administrator of the Government of the Dominion of New
Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the
Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent
to the assignment to Thomas David Goodger, of Lindis Pass,
runholder, by James Goodger, formerly of Lindis Pass,
farmer, of his rights, powers, and privileges under an Order in
Council dated the fifth day of August, one thousand nine
hundred and thirty-six, and published in the New Zealand
Gazette No. 52 of the sixth day of the same month at page
1523, authorizing the said James Goodger, of Lindis Pass,
farmer, to use water for the purpose of generating electricity.

Setting apart Native Land as a Native Reservation.

Vesting the Management of certain Wharves in Hokianga
Harbour in the Hokianga Harbour Board.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 12th day of
February, 1941.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR OF THE GOVERNMENT
IN COUNCIL.
PURSUANT to the Harbours Act, 1923, His Excellency
the Administrator of the Government of the Dominion
of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent
of the Executive Council, doth hereby vest in the Hokianga
Harbour Board (hereinafter called "the Board," which term
shall include its successors or assigns unless the context
requires a different construction), the management of the
wharves at Horeke, Kohukohu, Koutu, Motukaraka, Opononi,
Rawene, Te Karaka (Panguru), Te Teo, and The Narrows
in Hokianga Harbour, as shown on approved plans marked
M.D. 2944 ; 1222, 1223, 3948 ; 2412 ; 3749, 4329 ; 1491,
1492 ; 181, 182, 582, 583, 3947, 4013 ; 6246 ; 4847 ; and
2505, 3896 ; and deposited in the office of the Marine Department
at Wellington, such vesting to be subject to the terms
and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
- The vesting is subject to the Foreshore License Regulations 1940, and the provisions of those regulations shall, so
far as applicable, apply hereto. - The term of the vesting shall be fourteen years from the
10th day of January, 1941.

PURSUANT to section five of the Native Purposes Act,
1937, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government
of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with
the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby
set apart and reserve the Native freehold land described in
the Schedule hereto as a Native reservation for the common
use of the members of the Whanau-a-Rua Tribe as a meeting-
place, a burial-ground, and for other communal purposes.
