Boundaries of Taradale Town District altered.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by the Town Boards Act, 1908, and of all other powers and authorities enabling me in that behalf, I, Sir Michael Myers, the Administrator of the Government of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that as on and from the first day of April, one thousand nine hundred and forty-one, the boundaries of the Town District of Taradale shall be altered by including therein the area described in the First Schedule hereto, such area being now portion of the County of Hawke’s Bay, and that the boundaries of the said town district, with such alteration as herein provided for, shall be those described in the Second Schedule hereto.

FIRST SCHEDULE.

AREA INCLUDED IN TOWN DISTRICT OF TARADALE.

ALL that area in the Hawke’s Bay Land District bounded by a line commencing at the intersection of the Taradale Town District boundary with the eastern side of Avondale Road ; thence northerly along the eastern side of Avondale Road to the southern side of Avenue Road ; thence north-westerly along a right line to the westernmost corner of Lot 16 on Deeds Plan 116, deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Napier ; thence north-easterly along the north-western boundaries of Lots 16 and 51, Deeds Plan 116 aforesaid, to the south-western side of Auckland Road ; thence south-easterly and easterly along the south-western side of Auckland Road to the northernmost corner of the Taradale Town District ; thence southerly, south-westerly, and westerly along the north-western and northern boundaries of the Taradale Town District to the eastern side of Avondale Road, the point of commencement.

TOWN DISTRICT OF TARADALE.

ALL that area in the Hawke’s Bay Land District bounded by a line commencing at the northernmost corner of Lot 51 on Deeds Plan 116, deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Napier ; thence south-easterly along the south-western side of Auckland Road to the western side of Guppy Road ; thence across Guppy Road and along the southern side of the road forming the southern boundaries of Sections 42 and 65, Meeanee to Purimu Creek ; thence by Purimu Creek to the western boundary-line of Section 36, Meeanee ; thence southerly along the western boundaries of Sections 36 and 38, Meeanee, across a road, and along the western boundary-line of Section 18, Meeanee, and that boundary produced to the Tutaekuri River ; thence up the Tutaekuri River to a point in line with the eastern boundary of Block 2, Puketapu Crown Grant District ; thence to and along that boundary and the eastern boundary of Blocks 56, 27, and 28, Puketapu Crown Grant District, to the south-western corner of Section 60, Meeanee ; thence along the southern boundary of Section 60, Meeanee, and that boundary produced to the eastern side of Church Road ; thence along the eastern side of Church Road to the southern boundary of Section 57, Meeanee ; thence along the southern boundary of Section 57, Meeanee, to the eastern side of Avondale Road ; thence north-easterly along the eastern side of Avondale Road to the south-western side of Avenue Road ; thence north-westerly across Avenue Road to the westernmost corner of Lot 16 on Deeds Plan 116, deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Napier ; thence north-easterly along the north-western boundaries of Lots 16 and 51, on Deeds Plan 116 aforesaid, to the northernmost corner of the said Lot 51, the point of commencement.
