PURSUANT to section 222 of the Companies Act, 1933, notice is hereby given that at an extraordinary general meeting of the above-named company, duly convened and held on the 16th December, 1941, the following resolution was passed:—

“That J. B. Waters, Limited, be voluntarily wound up, and that Mr. H. W. Boddy, Public Accountant, Dunedin, be appointed liquidator.

NORTHCOTE BOROUGH COUNCIL.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

Water-meter Loan, 1941, £1,800.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, the Northcote Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:—

“That, for the purposes of providing the interest, principal, and other charges on a loan of one thousand eight hundred pounds (£1,800), authorized to be raised by the Northcote Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of purchasing and installing water-meters, the said Northcote Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of twenty-one hundredths of a penny (.21d.) in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Borough of Northcote; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of July in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of fifteen years or until the loan is fully paid off.”

The above resolution was carried at a special meeting of the Northcote Borough Council held on the 16th December, 1941.

IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION.

In the matter of the Companies Act, 1933, and in the matter of SILVER FERN TAXI COMPANY, LIMITED (in Voluntary Liquidation).

NOTICE is hereby given that at a meeting of the above-named company held at the office of T. H. Thompson and Sons, Public Accountants, A.M.P. Chambers, Dunedin, on Thursday, the 18th day of December, 1941, the following special resolution was passed:—

“That the company be wound up voluntarily, and that FRANCIS RICHARD THOMPSON, of Dunedin, Public Accountant, be and is hereby appointed liquidator for the purposes of such winding up.”

All persons or companies having claims against the above-named company are required to send full particulars thereof to the undersigned on or before the 12th day of January, 1942, otherwise they may be excluded from participation in any distribution of assets.
