Allocating Railway Land to the Purposes of a Road in Block IX,
Waihua Survey District.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of
every other power and authority in anywise enabling me
in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim
and declare that the piece of land described in the Schedule
hereto (which was taken for the East Coast Main Trunk
Railway, Napier northwards, and which is no longer required
for such purpose) shall, upon the publication hereof in the
New Zealand Gazette, become road, and that such road shall
be maintained by the Wairoa County Council in like manner
as other public highways are controlled and maintained by
the said Council.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land dealt with : 1 rood
19.9 perches.

Being part Railway Reserve.

Situated in Block IX, Waihua Survey District (Hawke’s
Bay R.D.). (S.O. 1177, green.)

In the Hawke’s Bay Land District ; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plans marked P.W.D. 98587,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at
Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 10th day of
December, 1941.

Crown Land set apart for a Quarry in Blocks XCV and XCIX,
Clutha Survey District.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of
every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in
this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim
and declare that the Crown land described in the Schedule
hereto is hereby set apart for a quarry; and I do also hereby
declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after
the twenty-second day of December, one thousand nine
hundred and forty-one,

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of Crown land set apart :
1 rood 15.8 perches.

Being closed road adjoining or passing through part Section 1,
Block XCIX, and part Section 2, Block XCV, Clutha
Survey District (Otago R.D.). (S.O. 9225.)

In the Otago Land District; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 110435,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at
Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

Stopping Government Road in Block IX, Waihua Survey
District.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of
every other power and authority in anywise enabling me
in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim
as stopped the Government road described in the Schedule
hereto, such road being no longer required.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of road hereby stopped:

A. R. P. Adjoining or passing through
1 0 19.22 Mohaka No. 12 Block; coloured light green.
0 1 19.6 Railway land; coloured dark green.

Situated in Block IX, Waihua Survey District (Hawke’s
Bay R.D.). (S.O. 1177, green.)

In the Hawke’s Bay Land District; as the same are more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 98587,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at
Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 10th day of
December, 1941.
