IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION.

IN pursuance of section 221 of the Companies Act, 1933,
notice is hereby given that at a general meeting of the
above-named company held on the 3rd December, 1941,
the following resolution was passed :

"That, as the objects for which the company was formed
are now non-existent, the company goes into voluntary
liquidation."

AMNERS LIME COMPANY (1934), LIMITED.

MEMBERS' VOLUNTARY WINDING UP.

NOTICE is hereby given that by an entry in the minute-
book of the above-named company, made by virtue
of section 300 of the Companies Act, 1933, in lieu of special
resolution, and dated the 30th day of November, 1941, the
following resolution was passed :-

"Resolved, as a special resolution, that the company be
wound up voluntarily, and that MORRIS STEWART SPENCE,
of Napier, Public Accountant, and FRANK RANDOLPH SEATON
ASHTON, of Napier, Public Accountant, either of whom may
act in the premises, be and are hereby appointed liquidators
of the company."

WELLINGTON CITY COUNCIL.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND.

In the matter of the Wellington City Empowering and
Amendment Act, 1924, the Public Works Act, 1928, and
the Municipal Corporations Act, 1933, and their respective amendments.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Wellington City Council
proposes, under the provisions of the above-named
Acts and all other Acts, powers, and authorities enabling it
in that behalf, to execute a certain public work--namely,
for street purposes at Balfour Street and at the corner of
Moffitt Street and Krull Street in the City of Wellington--
and for the purposes of such public work the land described
in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken : And notice
is hereby further given that plans of the land so required to
be taken are deposited in the Public Office of the Town Clerk
to the said Council in the Town Hall, Cuba Street, in the said
city, and are there open for inspection without fee by all
persons during ordinary office hours, and that all persons
affected by the execution of the said public work or the
taking of such land should, if they have well-grounded
objections to the execution of the said public work or to the
taking of the said land, set forth the same in writing, and send
such writing, within forty days from the first publication of
this notice, to the Wellington City Council addressed to the
Town Clerk at his said office.

SCHEDULE.

  1. All that piece of land situate at Balfour Street, in the
    City of Wellington, containing three perches and sixty-one
    one-hundredths of a perch (3·61 perches), being part of Lot 16
    on Deposited Plan No. 3348, part Section 18, Ohiro District ;
    coloured blue on S.O. plan 20837.

  2. All that piece of land situate at Balfour Street, in the
    City of Wellington, containing one perch and fifty-three
    one-hundredths of a perch (1·53 perches), being part of
    Lot 32 on Deposited Plan No. 3348, part Section 18, Ohiro District ; coloured orange on S.O. plan 20837.

  3. All that piece of land situate at the corner of Moffit
    Street and Krull Street, in the City of Wellington, containing
    two perches and seventy-three one-hundredths of a perch
    (2·73 perches), being part of Lot 20 on Deposited Plan
    No. 8065, being part of Section 15, Ohiro District ; coloured
    blue on S.O. plan 20827.

GRANT AND WAITE, LTD.

IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION.

In the matter of the Companies Act, 1933, and in the
matter of GRANT AND WAITE, LTD. (a private company).
NOTICE is hereby given that the following special resolution
has been duly passed by the above-named
company, by entry in the company's minute-book, dated
the 1st day of December, 1941 :-

"That the company be wound up voluntarily, and that
FAIRLEY HAROLD VINCENT, Accountant, of Grampian Road,
Auckland, be and he is hereby appointed liquidator for the
purposes of such winding up."

WAIWAI LIMITED.

In the matter of the Companies Act, 1933, and in the
matter of WAIWAI LIMITED.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Order of the Supreme
Court of New Zealand dated the 5th day of December,
1941, confirming the reduction of the capital of the above-
mentioned company from £19,300 to £14,475, and the minute
approved by the Court showing with respect to the capital
of the company as altered the several particulars required
by the above statute, were registered with the Assistant
Registrar of Companies at Auckland on the 8th day of
December, 1941.

And notice is further given that the said minute is in the
words and figures following :-

"The capital of Waiwai Limited is £14,475 divided into
19,300 shares of 15s. each, reduced from £19,300 divided
into 19,300 shares of £1 each. At the time of registration
of this minute the whole of the 19,300 shares are deemed to
be fully paid."

pursuant to section 240 of the Companies Act, 1933,
will be held at the office of Messrs. Rowley, Gill, Hobbs,

Wellington, on Monday, 22nd December, 1941, at 12 noon,
to receive an account of the conduct of the winding up during
the year ended 30th June, 1941.

WELLINGTON.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND UNDER THE PUBLIC
WORKS ACT, 1928.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Education Board of
the District of Wellington requires to take the land,
with improvements, as described hereunder, namely :-

All that piece of land containing 4 acres, situate in Block XI,
Mangahao Survey District, being part of Mangatainoka J
No. 2A No. 2, part of part Lot 5, Deposited Plan 1065, and
part of the land in certificate of title, Vol. 408, folio 105.

The land is required for the purposes of a public work-
namely, for a public school--within the meaning of the
Education Act, 1914.

Notice is hereby given that a plan of the said land is open
for inspection at the offices of Messrs. Brandon, Ward,
Hislop, and Powles, Solicitors, Featherston Street, Wellington,
and at Ralph's Store, Mangamaire.
