THE RIGHT HON. P. FRASER PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers and authorities in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the land described in the Schedule hereto being taken for street.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 3rd day of December, 1941.

THE RIGHT HON. P. FRASER PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by the Public Works Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby direct the sale of the piece of stopped Government road described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of stopped Government road directed to be sold: 14·5 perches.

Adjoining or passing through part Allotment 209, Komakorau Parish.

Situated in Block IV, Newcastle Survey District (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 28854.)

In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 94985, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon edged blue.

Consenting to the Raising of the Balance (£800) of the Inglewood County Council’s Loan of £1,300 and prescribing the Conditions thereof.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 3rd day of December, 1941.

Present:

THE RIGHT HON. P. FRASER PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by Order in Council made on the twenty-second day of November, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-nine, and subject to the determinations as to borrowing and repayment therein set out, consent was given to the raising by the Inglewood County Council (hereinafter called “the said local authority”) of a loan of one thousand three hundred pounds (£1,300) to be known as “Flood Damage Loan, 1939” (hereinafter called “the said loan”):

And whereas the authority conferred by the said Order in Council has not been exercised to the extent of eight hundred pounds (£800):

And whereas the authority has lapsed in accordance with the provisions of clause six of the said Order in Council, and it is not now lawful or competent for the said local authority to raise this amount or any portion thereof except in accordance with the provisions of a further Order in Council that may be issued pursuant to section eleven of the Local Government Loans Board Act, 1926 (hereinafter called “the said Act”):

And whereas the said local authority is desirous of raising the balance of the said loan amounting to eight hundred pounds (£800) (hereinafter called “the said sum”), and it is expedient to authorize the said local authority to raise the said sum on the conditions hereinafter set out :
