Business.—To receive and consider the final accounts of the liquidator and to hear any explanation thereon, and to pass the following extraordinary resolution :—
“That the books, accounts, and papers of the company be left in the custody of the liquidator, W. W. Waddilove, Public Accountant, of Wellington, for a period of five years.”

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.

THE partnership under which the above legal practice has been carried on has been dissolved. The practice will in future be carried on by Frederick William Johnston (under the style of Messrs. Johnston and Kippenberger) pending the return of Howard Karl Kippenberger to the practice from Active Service. Mr. White has withdrawn from the partnership.

OROUA COUNTY COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, the Oroua County Council hereby resolves as follows :—
“That, for the purpose of providing interest and other charges on a loan of £10,000, authorized to be raised by the Oroua County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of making advances to farmers for the erection of dwellings under the Rural Housing Act, 1939, the said Oroua County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one-twelfth of a penny (1/12d.) in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property within the County of Oroua, and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the first day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 25 years or until loan is fully paid off.”
The above resolution was passed at a duly constituted meeting of the Oroua County Council held on the 12th day of December, 1940.
