Public Service Superannuation Board.—Election of Members
of the Board.

THE following persons have been duly nominated as
candidates for the election of two members of the
Public Service Superannuation Board to represent the
contributors belonging to the Post and Telegraph
Department :—

Crocker, Leslie Frederick, Senior Mechanic, Wellington.
Green, Ernest Hedley Roy, Superintending Engineer,
Wellington.

As the number of persons nominated does not exceed the
number of vacancies to be filled, I hereby declare Messrs.
L. F. Crocker and E. H. R. Green to be duly elected.

Notice to Persons affected by an Application for a License
under Part III of the Industrial Efficiency Act, 1936.

Taking of Fish for Sale.

AN application has been received from W. J. Reid,
Tauranga, for a license to take fish for sale from the
boat “Te Arawa” (T.A. 350), using set-nets, drag-nets,
long-lines, hand-lines, and crayfish pots, catches to be landed
at Tauranga.

Any person who considers he will be materially affected
by the decision of the Bureau of Industry on this application,
and who wishes to make representations accordingly, must
furnish them in writing not later than the 20th February,
1941.

under Part III of the Industrial Efficiency Act, 1936.

Manufacture for Sale of Footwear.

AN application has been received from Detcheff and Co.,
of Wellington, for an extension of the scope of the
company’s Footwear Manufacturing License covering the
manufacture of hand-made basket shoes so as to include the
manufacture of such type of shoe by the cemented process.

Any person who considers he will be materially affected
by the decision of the Bureau of Industry on this application,
and who wishes to make representations accordingly, must
furnish them in writing not later than 20th February, 1941.

Retail Sale of Motor-spirits.

AN application has been received from the agent of a
proposed company, to be known as “Hamilton Taxis
Co-operative, Ltd.,” to sell (retail) motor-spirits from a
petrol pump to be installed inside garage premises at the
corner of Collingwood and Anglesea Streets, Hamilton, on
the site of S. J. Jenkinson’s Service Station.

Any person who considers he will be materially affected
by the decision of the Bureau of Industry on this application,
and who wishes to make representations accordingly, must
furnish them in writing not later than the 20th February, 1941.
