Revoking Part of a Proclamation defining the Middle-line of a
Portion of the Wellington-Napier Railway (Lower Hutt
Valley Duplication).

A PROCLAMATION
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of
every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in
this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby
revoke so much of the Proclamation dated the tenth day of
December, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-four, and
published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 81, of the eleventh
day of the same month, defining the middle-line of a portion
of the Wellington-Napier Railway (Lower Hutt Valley
Duplication) in so far as it affects part Section 39, Hutt R.D.,
Block IX, Belmont Survey District, being all the land com-
prised and described in Certificate of Title, Volume 248,
f0lio 26, Wellington Registry.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 28th day of
January, 1941.

Amending an Order in Council authorizing the Te Awamutu
Electric-power Board to construct, maintain, and use certain
Electric Lines.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 29th day of
January, 1941.
Present :
His Excellency the Governor-General in Council.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the
Public Works Act, 1928, and the Electric-power Boards
Act, 1926, and of every other power and authority in any-
wise enabling him in that behalf, His Excellency the
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand,
acting by and with the advice and consent of the
Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby amend
the Order in Council dated the fourth day of December,
one thousand nine hundred and forty, and published in
the New Zealand Gazette of the twelfth day of the same
month at page 3689, authorizing the Te Awamutu Electric-
power Board to lay, construct, put up, place, and use certain
electric lines, by deleting paragraph (a) of the Second Schedule
to the said Order in Council and substituting therefor the
following paragraph :—
“ (a) The area added to the Te Awamutu Electric-
power District by clause (a) of the Schedule to the
Proclamation dated the 8th day of May, 1936, and
published in the New Zealand Gazette of the 14th day
of the same month, such area comprising portion of
the County of Otorohanga.”

Council to use Water for the Purpose of generating Electricity
and to erect certain Electric Lines.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred upon him by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of
every other power in anywise enabling him in that
behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
doth hereby amend the Order in Council dated the twenty-
second day of December, one thousand nine hundred and
thirteen, and published in the Gazette on the fifteenth day of
January, one thousand nine hundred and fourteen, at page 7,
as amended by Order in Council dated the ninth day of
April, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-seven, and
published in the Gazette of the fifteenth day of the same
month, by adding to clause 21 of the terms and conditions
of the license the following words :—
“ The licensee may distribute electrical energy on the
system described in paragraph (f) of Regulation 21-01
of the Electrical Supply Regulations, 1935.”

of Waitekauri, by Edwin Austin Hodges, formerly of
Waitekauri, Farmer, of his Rights, Powers, and Privileges
under an Order in Council dated the 16th February, 1938.

assignment to Bede Wallace Maxey Clarry, of Waite-
kauri, by Edwin Austin Hodges, formerly of Waitekauri,
farmer, of his rights, powers, and privileges under an Order
in Council dated the sixteenth day of February, one thousand
nine hundred and thirty-eight, and published in the New
Zealand Gazette No. 11 of the seventeenth day of the same
month at page 270, authorizing the said Edwin Austin Hodges,
of Waitekauri, farmer, to use water for the purpose of
generating electricity, and to erect certain electric lines.

to the Waikato County Council stopping the portions of road
described in the Schedule hereto.
