NOTICE is hereby given that the matter mentioned in the Schedule hereunder written will be heard by the Native Land Court, sitting at Taupo on the 14th day of January, 1941, or as soon thereafter as the business of the Court will allow.

Notice of Persons affected by an Application for a License under Part III of the Industrial Efficiency Act, 1936.
Manufacture for Sale of Footwear.
AN application has been received from McKinlay’s Footwear Co., Ltd., Dunedin, for an extension of the scope of the company’s Footwear Manufacturer’s License covering the manufacture of sandals and slippers by the veldtschoen process, so as to include the manufacture of all types of men’s, ladies’, children’s, youths’ and maids’ footwear by the veldtschoen process.
Any person who considers he will be materially affected by the decision of the Bureau of Industry on this application and who wishes to make representations accordingly, must furnish them in writing not later than the 22nd January, 1941.

Taking of Fish for Sale.
APPLICATIONS have been received from the following:—
(1) M. Hoiti, Motiti Island, for a license to take fish for sale around Tauranga by means of the fishing-vessel “Ngahiwi,” using long-lines and hand-lines.
(2) H. D. Allen, Te Rawa, for a license to take fish for sale around Havelock and French Pass by means of the fishing-vessel “Alco,” using hand-lines.
(3) N. A. Dodson, Takaka, for a license to take fish for sale around Rangihaeta by means of the fishing-vessel “Manui,” using set-nets, drag-nets, long-lines, hand-lines, and crayfish pots.
Any person who considers he will be materially affected by the decisions of the Bureau of Industry on these applications, and who wishes to make representations accordingly, must furnish them in writing not later than the 22nd January, 1941.

Canning of Fruit and Vegetables.
AN application has been received from the Golden West Fruit Packing Co. Pty., Ltd., Petone, for an extension of the scope of the company’s existing Fruit and Vegetable Canning License covering the canning of prunes and vegetables only, so as to include the canning of solid pack apples.
Any person who considers he will be materially affected by the decision of the Bureau of Industry on this application, and who wishes to make representations accordingly, must furnish them in writing not later than the 22nd January, 1941.

NOTICE is hereby given that the leases and licenses of the undermentioned lands having been declared forfeit by resolution of the North Auckland Land Board, the said lands have thereby reverted to the Crown under the provisions of the Land Act, 1924.
