HOBSON COUNTY COUNCIL.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND.

In the matter of the Counties Act, 1920, and the Public Works Act, 1908.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Hobson County Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to execute a certain public work—namely, the making of roads—and for the purposes of such public work the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken; and notice is hereby further given that plans of the said land so required to be taken are deposited in the Hobson County Office, Dargaville, and are open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during office hours.

All persons affected by the execution of the said public work, or by taking of such lands, who have any well-grounded objection to the execution of the said public work, or to the taking of the said lands, must state their objections in writing, and send the same within forty days from the first publication of this notice to the County Clerk at the Hobson County Office, Dargaville.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.

NOTICE is hereby given that the partnership heretofore subsisting between RICHARD RANDOLPH BRAMLEY and RAY NATHANIEL GOW, carrying on business as General Engineers and Machinists at No. 46 Wakefield Street, Auckland, under the style or firm name of Bramley and Gow, has been dissolved as from the 10th day of September, 1940, by the retirement of Ray Nathaniel Gow and the said business will henceforth be carried on by the said Richard Randolph Bramley alone.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Deputy Registrar of Friendly Societies has, pursuant to section 70 of the Friendly Societies Act, 1909, by writing under his hand dated this 11th day of September, 1940, cancelled the registry of Court Otaki, No. 9925, of The Wellington District of the Ancient Order of Foresters (Register No. 144/43), held at Otaki, on the ground that the said branch has ceased to exist.

NOTICE is hereby given, pursuant to section 232 of the Companies Act, 1933, that a general meeting of the above-named company will be held in the Library, Town Hall, Takapau, on Saturday, the 12th day of October, 1940, at 11 a.m., for the purpose of having an account laid before the meeting showing the manner in which the winding up has been conducted, and the property of the company disposed of, and of hearing any explanation that may be given by the liquidator, and also of determining by extraordinary resolution the manner in which the books, accounts, and documents of the company and of the liquidator thereof shall be disposed of.
