- The Board shall control the said reserve and the building erected thereon for the purposes of a public hall, and shall also afford settlers and residents of Raurimu and the surrounding district such facilities for meeting within the said hall as may from time to time be determined by the Board: Provided that the Board shall have power to fix reasonable charges for the use of the said hall.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 18th day of September, 1940.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto has been duly set apart as a reserve for plantation purposes: And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor-General, it is expedient to vest the said reserve in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Cook:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section nine of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that from and after the day of the date hereof the reserve described in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Cook, in trust, for plantation purposes.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto has been duly set apart as a reserve for county purposes: And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor-General, it is expedient to vest the said reserve in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Waitotara:

Recreation Reserve in Otago Land District brought under Part II of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
BY virtue of the powers and authorities vested in me by the thirty-fourth section of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, do hereby order and declare that the reserve for recreation in the Otago Land District described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby brought under the operation of and declared to be subject to the provisions of Part II of the said Act, and such reserve shall hereafter form part of the Wanaka Islands Domain, and be managed, administered, and dealt with as a public domain by the Wanaka Islands Domain Board.

Cancelling the Reservation over Portion of a Reserve in Mawheranui and Cobden Survey Districts, Westland Land District.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 18th day of September, 1940.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one (b) of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby cancel the reservation for the purposes of a road and railway over the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby declare that the said land, being vested in the Crown, is Crown land available for disposal under the Land Act, 1924.
SCHEDULE.
WESTLAND LAND DISTRICT.
ALL that area containing 130 acres 1 rood 11 perches, more or less, being portion of Reserve 982 (portion of the reserve for a railway and public road granted to the Superintendent of the Province of Nelson by grant dated the 17th February, 1868, originally registered in the Deeds Register Office at Nelson as No. 10272), situated in Blocks IV and V, Cobden Survey District, and Block IX, Mawheranui Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan marked L. and S. 16/2705A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

PURSUANT to the authority conferred upon me by the three-hundred-and-first section of the Justices of the Peace Act, 1927, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby notify and declare that the persons whose names are set out in the Schedule hereto, being officers in the service of the Crown holding the offices stated opposite their names respectively in the said Schedule, are authorized to take and receive statutory declarations under the three-hundred-and-first section of the Justices of the Peace Act, 1927.
