  1. SYSTEM OF SUPPLY.

The system of supply shall be in accordance with paragraph (a) of clause 21-01 of the Electrical Supply Regulations, 1935. Supply shall be received from the Minister of Public Works at a nominal pressure of 400/230 volts alternating current at the licensee’s sawmill premises at Miro Miro Station.

  1. CHARGES ON SALE.

The charges for electrical energy shall not exceed one shilling (1s.) per unit for lighting purposes and sixpence (6d.) per unit for motor-power or heating purposes: Provided that “lighting purposes” shall include the operation of motor-generators for lighting purposes, and provided further that if accounts are paid within fourteen days of due date the charges shall not exceed 9d. per unit for lighting purposes and 4½d. per unit for motor-power or heating purposes.

  1. DURATION OF LICENSE.

Unless sooner determined, this license shall continue in force until the 31st day of March, 1945, or until electrical energy is available from an Electric-power Board or other general public source, whichever is the earlier.

SCHEDULE.

LINES adapted for supply as prescribed by these presents for the transmission of electrical energy, commencing at the transformer situated in part Section 1, and proceeding thence in a westerly direction generally for a total distance of approximately 29 chains along a public road, again through the said part Section 1 and continuing along the said public road to and through the south-western corner of Lot 1; thence across the said public road and the Mangaone Stream to premises situated in Section 2, with branch lines leading off at various points to premises situated in part Section 1, Lot 1, and Section 2, all being situated in Block II, Waiau Survey District, in the Gisborne Land District; the same being more particularly delineated by means of black lines on plan P.W.D. 106941, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington.

Authorizing the Laying-off of a Street in the City of Invercargill (Herriot Court) of a Width less than 66 ft. but not less than 40 ft., subject to a Condition as to the Building-line.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 18th day of September, 1940.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1928, and the Municipal Corporations Act, 1933, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby authorize the Invercargill City Council to permit the laying-off of the proposed street described in the Schedule hereto of a width less than sixty-six feet, but not less than forty feet, subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the said street within a distance of fifty-three feet from the centre-line of the said street.

THAT proposed street, in the Southland Land District, City of Invercargill, containing by admeasurement 26·3 perches, more or less, being part of Section 2, Block I, Invercargill Hundred. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 108586, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Declaring Portion of Road, in the Borough of Lower Hutt, to be under the Control and Management of the Lower Hutt Borough Council.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 18th day of September, 1940.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, be under the control and management of the Lower Hutt Borough Council.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road dealt with: 2 roods 8·04 perches.

Being road by Proclamation published in New Zealand Gazette 1940, page 1941, and formerly part of Lot 2, D.P. 11495, being part of Section 26, Hutt District.

Situated in Block XIV, Belmont Survey District (Borough of Lower Hutt). (S.O. 20376.)

In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 107927, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.
