(4) The payment of interest and repayment of principal
in respect of the said sum shall be made in New Zealand.
(5) No amount payable as either interest or sinking fund
in respect of the said sum shall be paid out of loan-money.
(6) The rate payable for brokerage, underwriting, and
procuration fees in respect of the raising of the said sum or
any part thereof shall not in the aggregate exceed one-half
per centum of any amount raised.
(7) No moneys shall be borrowed under this consent after
the expiration of two years from the date hereof.

Varying the Determinations in respect of the Tauranga Hospital
Board’s Loan of £7,000.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 11th day of
September, 1940.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by Order in Council made on the tenth day
of July, one thousand nine hundred and forty, and
subject to the determinations as to borrowing and repayment
therein set out, consent was given to the raising by the
Tauranga Hospital Board (hereinafter called “the said local
authority”) of the sum of seven thousand pounds (£7,000)
by a loan to be known as “Building Loan, 1940” (hereinafter
called “the said loan”):
And whereas the authority conferred by the said Order in
Council has not yet been exercised and it is expedient to vary
certain of the determinations aforesaid in respect of the said
loan:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
and in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred on him by section eleven of the Local Government
Loans Board Act, 1926, as set out in section twenty-nine of
the Finance Act, 1932 (No. 2), and of all other powers and
authorities enabling him in this behalf, doth hereby vary the
determinations aforesaid in respect of the said loan by
prescribing as follows:-
(1) In lieu of a rate of interest not exceeding four pounds
(£4) per centum per annum, as specified in clause two of
the said Order in Council, the rate of interest that may be
paid in respect of the said loan shall be such as shall not
produce to the lender or lenders a rate or rates exceeding
three pounds seventeen shillings and sixpence (£3 17s. 6d.)
per centum per annum.
(2) In lieu of repayment by equal aggregate annual or
half-yearly instalments of principal and interest, as specified
in clause three of the aforesaid Order in Council, the said loan
shall be repaid by annual instalments of principal of not less
than three hundred and fifty pounds (£350) each.

Borough Council’s Loan of £10,400.

HIS EXCELLENCEY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by Order in Council made on the twenty-
second day of May, one thousand nine hundred and
forty, and subject to the determinations as to borrowing and
repayment therein set out, consent was given to the raising
in New Zealand by the Greymouth Borough Council (herein-
after called “the said local authority”), of the sum of ten
thousand four hundred pounds (£10,400) by a loan to be
known as “Redemption Loan, 1940” (hereinafter called
“the said loan”):
And whereas the authority conferred by the said Order in
Council has not yet been exercised, and it is expedient to vary
the determinations aforesaid in respect of the said loan:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
and in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred on him by section eleven of the Local Government
Loans Board Act, 1926, as set out in section twenty-nine
of the Finance Act, 1932 (No. 2), and of all other powers and
authorities enabling him in this behalf, doth hereby vary the
determinations aforesaid in respect of the said loan by
prescribing that in lieu of provision being made for the
repayment of the said loan by the establishment of a sinking
fund in respect thereof the said loan shall be repaid by equal
aggregate annual or half-yearly instalments of principal and
interest extending over the term of twenty (20) years.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by
the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in
anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting
by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council
of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the land
described in the Schedule hereto being taken for the use,
convenience, and enjoyment of an aerodrome (aeradio
receiving-station).
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land permitted to be taken:
9 acres 2 roods 16 perches.
Being part Lot 1, D.P. 6211, being part of the Ahuriri Lagoon.
Situated in Block IV, Heretaunga Survey District (Hawke’s
Bay R.D.). (S.O. 1216, green.)
In the Hawke’s Bay Land District; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 101064,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at
Wellington, and thereon edged red.

in Portion of the Waiau Survey District, Wairoa County.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 18th day of
September, 1940.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCEY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the
Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in
anywise enabling him in that behalf, His Excellency the
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting
by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council
of the said Dominion, doth hereby authorize H. N. Wilson,
Limited, a private company duly incorporated under Part
VIII of the Companies Act, 1933, having its registered office
at Palmerston North (hereinafter referred to as “the
licensee”), to lay, construct, put up, place, and use the
electric lines described in the Schedule hereto on the following
conditions.
CONDITIONS.

PURPOSES OF LINES.
The said lines may be used for lighting, power, and heating
purposes. -
LICENSE TO BE SUBJECT TO REGULATIONS.
The conditions directed to be implied in all licenses by the
Electrical Supply Regulations, 1935, shall be incorporated in
and shall form part of this license, except in so far as the
same may be inconsistent with the provisions hereof.
The license hereby conferred is subject to compliance by
the licensee with the Electrical Wiring Regulations, 1935, and
the Electrical Supply Regulations, 1935, and with all regu-
lations made or to be made in amplification or amendment
thereof or in substitution therefor.
