- LICENSE TO BE SUBJECT TO REGULATIONS.
The license hereby conferred is subject to compliance by the licensee with the Electrical Wiring Regulations, 1935, the Electrical Supply Regulations, 1935, and with all regulations made or to be made in amplification or amendment thereof or in substitution therefor. The conditions directed to be implied in all licenses by the Electrical Supply Regulations, 1935, shall be incorporated herein and form part of this license except in so far as the same may be inconsistent with the provisions hereof.
- DURATION OF LICENSE.
Unless sooner determined, this license shall continue in force until the 31st day of March, 1964.
- SYSTEM OF SUPPLY.
The system of supply shall be the system described in paragraph (f) of clause 21-01 of the Electrical Supply Regulations, 1935.

SCHEDULE.
LINES adapted for supply as prescribed in these presents for the transmission of electrical energy, all in the Kawatiri Survey District, commencing at the licensee’s power-house at Denniston and proceeding in a westerly direction generally through Block VI, and Section 8, Block VI, to a point near the south-western corner of the said Section 8; thence north-westerly through Block VI aforesaid, and part Section 32 to a point in Section 31, all in Block VI aforesaid, a distance of approximately 2½ miles; thence westerly through that section and Sections 67, 46, and 45, Block V, to the Westport-Karamea Main Highway; thence south-westerly along that road to a point on the southern boundary of Section 42; thence westerly and north-westerly generally through Section 42 aforesaid, Section 41, a public road, Sections 40, 39, 37, a public road, Sections 26 and 25, all in Block V, to and across the Mokihinui Railway to the Westport-Karamea Main Highway; thence westerly generally along that highway and along the northern side of the said railway to a point in the Borough of Westport, a distance of approximately 10½ miles; the same being more particularly delineated by means of red lines on plan marked P.W.D. 107043, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington.

Declaring a Public Highway to be a Main Highway.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 11th day of September, 1940.
Present :
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in him by section three of the Main Highways Act, 1922, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby declare that on and after the first day of September, one thousand nine hundred and forty, the roads described in the Schedule hereto shall be a main highway within the meaning and for the purposes of the Main Highways Act, 1922.

SCHEDULE.
HIGHWAY DISTRICT NO. 2.
McLennan: All that road or portion of road in the Manukau County, commencing at the junction with the Great South Road Main Highway north of Papakura and proceeding thence generally in an easterly and southerly direction via Walter’s, McLennan’s, and Grove Roads and terminating at the northern boundary of the Papakura Borough, being a distance of 1 mile 49 chains, more or less; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. 108544, deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.
Also all that road or portion of road in the Papakura Borough, commencing at the northern boundary of the said Borough and proceeding thence generally in a southerly direction via Grove Road, and terminating at its junction with the Papakura-Clevedon Main Highway, being a distance of 34 chains, more or less; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. 108545, deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

Cancelling the Reservation over a Reserve in Hunua Survey District, Wellington Land District.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 11th day of September, 1940.
Present :
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one (b) of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby cancel the reservation for a site for a public cemetery over the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby declare that the said land, being vested in the Crown, is Crown land available for disposal under the Land Act, 1924.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 11th day of September, 1940.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto has been duly set apart as a reserve for municipal purposes: And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor-General, it is expedient to vest the said reserve in the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Opunake:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section nine of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that from and after the day of the date hereof, the reserve described in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Opunake, in trust, for municipal purposes.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto has been duly set apart as a reserve for county purposes: And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor-General, it is expedient to vest the said reserve in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Akaroa:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section nine of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that from and after the day of the date hereof the reserve described in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Akaroa, in trust, for county purposes.
