Kenneth McCaskill McIntyre to be Hon. Major, and is appointed Staff Officer, Mechanical Transport, Army Headquarters, Wellington. Dated 8th March, 1940.
Captain R. W. Haddow, D.C.M., is granted the temporary rank of Major. Dated 16th May, 1940.
Captain H. Holderness, M.C., relinquishes the appointment of Transport Shipping Officer, Christchurch, and is appointed Ship's Quartermaster, Army Headquarters, Wellington, and is granted the temporary rank of Major while so employed. Dated 15th August, 1940.
Lieutenant F. E. B. Ivimey to be Captain. Dated 1st July, 1940.
Captain E. R. Winkler, M.C., Retired List, to be Captain, and is posted to the Artillery Training Regiment, Mobilization Camp, Papakura. Dated 1st July, 1940.

Major R. McPherson, M.C., N.Z. Artillery, relinquishes command of the 5th Battery, 3rd Field Regiment, N.Z.A., and is transferred to the Reserve of Officers, Class I (b), Area 10. Dated 6th August, 1940.
Captain L. R. Webley, N.Z. Artillery, is appointed to command the 5th Battery, 3rd Field Regiment, N.Z.A., temporarily, and is granted the temporary rank of Major whilst in command of the Battery. Dated 6th August, 1940.

Captain R. S. Hosking is transferred to the Reserve of Officers, Class I (b), Area 8. Dated 19th August, 1940.
