CROWN LAND NOTICE.

Land in Canterbury Land District forfeited.

Department of Lands and Survey, Wellington, 27th August, 1940.

NOTICE is hereby given that the leases of the undermentioned lands, having been declared forfeit by resolution of the Canterbury Land Board, the said lands have thereby reverted to the Crown under the provisions of the Land Act, 1924, the Land for Settlements Act, 1925, and the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915.

LAND TRANSFER ACT NOTICES.

APPLICATION having been made to me for the issue of a provisional certificate of title in the name of ARTHUR ERNEST HITCHMAN, of Napier, Confectioner, for that piece of land containing 14-6/10ths perches, more or less, situate in the Borough of Napier, being also part of Lot S on Deeds Plan 39, and all the land comprised and described in certificate of title, H.B. Vol., 21, folio 152, and evidence having been lodged of the loss or destruction of the said certificate of title, I hereby give notice that I will issue the provisional certificate of title as requested after fourteen days from the date of the Gazette containing this notice.

APPLICATION having been made to me for the issue of a new certificate of title, in favour of THE EDUCATION BOARD OF THE DISTRICT OF SOUTHLAND, for Section 3, Block VII, Longwood District, being the land contained in certificate of title, Vol. 35, folio 66, and evidence having been lodged of the loss of the said certificate of title, I hereby give notice that I shall issue a new certificate of title as requested upon the expiration of fourteen days from the 20th August, 1940.
