THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE.
The South-western Side of Portion of Leven Street, in the City of Dunedin, exempted from the Provisions of Section 128 of the Public Works Act, 1928, subject to a Condition as to the Building-line.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 28th day of August, 1940.
Present:
His Excellency The Governor-General in Council.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anyway enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the Dunedin City Council on the twenty-ninth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and forty, viz. :-
"That the Dunedin City Council, being the local authority having control of the streets in the City of Dunedin, by resolution declares that the provisions of section one hundred and twenty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1928, shall not apply to the south-western side of portion of Leven Street abutting on part Lot 8, Block V, Township of Roslyn";
subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the south-western side of the portion of Leven Street (described in the Schedule hereto) within a distance of thirty-three feet from the centre-line of the said portion of street.
SCHEDULE.
THE south-western side of all that portion of street, situated in the Otago Land District, City of Dunedin, known as Leven Street, fronting part Allotment 8, Block V, Deeds Plan 15, Township of Roslyn, being part Section 26, Block IV, Upper Kaikorai District. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 108410, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

The South-western Side of Portion of Havelock Street and the North-western Side of Portion of Whitby Street, in the City of Dunedin, exempted from the Provisions of Section 128 of the Public Works Act, 1928, subject to a Condition as to the Building-line.

SCHEDULE.
THE south-western side of all that portion of street situated in the Otago Land District, City of Dunedin, known as Havelock Street, fronting Lot 35, Block II, Plan 1722, Township of Richmond Hill, being part Section 78, Block VI, Town District.
Also the north-western side of all that portion of street in the said land district and city, known as Whitby Street, fronting Lot 35, Block II, Plan 1722, Township of Richmond Hill, being part Section 78, Block VI, Town District.
As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 107817, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Opua Domain
GALWAY, Governor-General.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 28th day of August, 1940.
Present:
His Excellency The Governor-General in Council.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section forty-four of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint Colin John Day, Beatrice Hilda Lane, William Edmund Lane, Annie Josephine Lemon, John Lemon, John Raymond Morris, Kate Morris, Clara Isabel Simpson, and George Simpson
to be the Opua Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint Tuesday, the third day of September, one thousand nine hundred and forty, at eight o'clock p.m., as the time when, and the Opua Hall as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.
SCHEDULE.
NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.--OpuA DOMAIN.
ALL that area in Block V, Russell Survey District, containing by admeasurement 1 acre 3 roods 24 perches, more or less, being Section 1, Block VII, Town of Opua.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section forty-four of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks, Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint George Walter Cox, Ernest Joshua Knight, Walter William Massey, William Scott, Matthew Bruce Kirkbride, Samuel Ward House, John Clark, Alfred Lennox Jones, and James Jones
to be the Mangere Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint Tuesday, the third day of September, one thousand nine hundred and forty, at half-past seven o'clock p.m., as the time when, and the Mangere Bridge School as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.
