ESTATE OF GEORGE WILLIAM FOWLER.

In the matter of the Administration Act, 1908, and its amendments and in the matter of the Estate of GEORGE WILLIAM FOWLER, late of Auckland, but now deceased.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Public Trustee of the Dominion of New Zealand, on the 6th day of August, 1940, pursuant to the powers in that behalf conferred upon him by section 62 of the above-mentioned Act, filed a certificate in the Supreme Court at Wellington electing to administer the above estate under Part IV of the said Act, and that the said estate will, as from the said date, be administered realized, and distributed in accordance with the law and practice of bankruptcy.

Notice is further given that I do hereby summon a meeting of creditors of the above estate to be held at this office on Thursday, the 15th day of August, 1940, at two o’clock in the afternoon.

Notice is finally given that all creditors, whether they have already submitted their claims or not, are required to prove their debts within the time and in the manner provided by the Bankruptcy Act, 1908. Proof-of-debt forms may be procured at my office.

DECLARATION REVOKING THE DISSOLUTION OF A SOCIETY.

I, HAROLD BEANLAND WALTON, Assistant Registrar of Incorporated Societies, do hereby declare that the declaration made by me on the 1st day of June, 1939, dissolving the Wellington Nearby Farmers’ Association (Incorporated) was made in error, and the said declaration is accordingly revoked in pursuance of section 28, subsection (3), of the Incorporated Societies Act, 1908.

TUAKAU TOWN BOARD.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

THE following resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Tuakau Town Board held on Monday, the 1st day of July, 1940, namely:—

“In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, the Tuakau Town Board hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the instalments of principal and interest and other charges on a loan of £1,000 (one thousand pounds), authorized to be raised by the Tuakau Town Board under the above-mentioned Act, to be known as the ‘Road Improvement Loan, 1940,’ for the purpose of reconstructing and sealing certain roads and footpaths in the Tuakau Town District, the said Tuakau Town Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of ³⁄₁₆d. (three-sixteenths of one penny) in the pound upon the rateable value (based upon the capital value) of all rateable property in the Tuakau Town District; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 31st day of March in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of eight years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
