Notice under the Enemy Trading Emergency Regulations 1939.—
Declaration of Enemy Traders.
I, DANIEL GILES SULLIVAN, Minister of Industries
and Commerce, being satisfied that the banking
concerns mentioned in the Schedule hereto are carrying on
business extensively or to a specified extent for the benefit
or under the control of alien enemies resident out of New
Zealand, do hereby, in pursuance of Regulation 3 of the
Enemy Trading Emergency Regulations 1939, declare the
said banking concerns to be Enemy Traders for the purpose
of the said regulations.

Variation of Notice Constituting Parekarangi Development
Scheme.
PURSUANT to subsection (2) of section 4 of the Native
Land Amendment Act, 1936, the Board of Native
Affairs hereby varies the notice dated the 6th day of June,
1931, and published in Gazette No. 46 of the 11th day of the
same month, at page 1735, declaring the Rotomahana-
Parekarangi 6a 2 4b 2a 1 and other blocks to be subject to
subsection (3) of section 23 of the Native Land Amendment
and Native Land Claims Adjustment Act, 1929 (now Part I
of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1936), by substituting
for the description and area shown in the First Schedule
hereto the description and area shown in the Second Schedule
hereto.

ALL that area of land in the Ikaroa Native Land Court
District situate in Blocks VII and XI, Heretaunga Survey
District, and known as the Paepaetahi Block, containing
128 acres 3 roods, being the land more particularly delineated
upon a plan deposited in the Land Transfer Office at Napier
as No. 2114, and thereon edged red, and being the whole of
the land in Certificate of Title, H.B. Vol. 101, folio 87.

Notice to Persons affected by Applications for Licenses under
Part III of the Industrial Efficiency Act, 1936.
Taking of Fish for Sale.
NOTICE is hereby given that applications have been
received from R. Godfrey and N. and R. Alderton,
Dunedin, for licenses to take fish for sale in and around
Pelorus Sounds by means of the 49 ft. fishing vessel “Rajah”
using set and drag nets and long and hand lines.
Any person who considers he will be materially affected
by the decisions of the Bureau of Industry in respect of
these applications and who wishes to make representations
accordingly, must furnish such representations in writing so
as to reach the undersigned not later than the 29th August,
1940.

to take fish for sale by means of a new 40-45 ft. fishing
vessel under construction, using set and drag nets, long and
hand lines.
Any person who considers he will be materially affected
by the decision of the Bureau of Industry in respect of this
application, and who wishes to make representations
accordingly, must furnish such representations in writing so
as to reach the undersigned not later than the 29th August,
1940.
