Officer authorized to convene Courts-martial, to confirm the Findings and Sentences thereof, to delegate such Powers.
GALWAY, Governor-General.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section thirteen, Defence Amendment Act, 1912, and regulation seven of the Expeditionary Force Emergency Regulations 1940, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby authorize the undermentioned officer to convene general or district courts-martial, to confirm the findings and sentences thereof, and to delegate this authority to any officer under his command not below the degree of a field-officer.

Notice of Intention to issue an Order in Council changing the Purpose of the Reservation over Part of the Makaraka Domain, Gisborne Land District.
GALWAY, Governor-General.
WHEREAS by section forty-one of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928 (hereinafter referred to as “the said Act”), it is provided that the Governor-General may from time to time by Order in Council, but subject to compliance with the requirements of subsection two of section seven of the said Act, declare that the land comprised in a public domain or part thereof shall cease to be subject to Part II of the said Act; and, further, may declare either that such land shall be a public reserve for the purposes of Part I of the said Act, or Crown land available for disposal by way of sale for cash under the Land Act, 1924:
And whereas the land described in the Schedule hereto is part of the Makaraka Domain but is not required for domain purposes, and it is expedient to change the purpose of the reservation over the said land to a site for a children's health camp:
Now, therefore, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby give notice pursuant to subsection two of section seven of the said Act that it is my intention to issue an Order in Council under the provisions of section forty-one of the said Act declaring that the part of the Makaraka Domain described in the Schedule hereto shall cease to be subject to Part II of the said Act, and shall be deemed to be a public reserve for a site for a children's health camp.
SCHEDULE.
GISBORNE LAND DISTRICT.—PART OF MAKARAKA DOMAIN.
ALL that area containing by admeasurement 1 acre 2 roods 10·5 perches, more or less, being part of Section 9, Block II, Turanganui Survey District, bounded by other part of Section 9 as follows: Commencing at a point bearing 294° 27′ 46″ 91·2 links distant from the north-western corner of Cochrane Street, Borough of Gisborne; towards the south generally 294° 27′ 46″ 20·78 links, 284° 03′ 15″ 30·3 links, 279° 54′ 40″ 148·47 links, and 282° 46′ 20″ 284·58 links; towards the west 4° 05′ 310·52 links; towards the north generally 55° 37′ 21·1 links and 107° 55′ 537·7 links; and towards the east 197° 39′ 277·1 links; be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S.*1/603, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
